 I'm very happy! Happy in my knowledge and playing experience of both codes, and RU. There's nothing quite like playing the game, being involved and a part of the action. Nothing nicer than seeing the ball sail through the goals off the boot or bringing down a man trying to get past you. Nothing better than diving over the tryline or evading a defender in open space. Nothing better LG. Its grand and has and continues to make me happy.

Jealous?

It also made me happy to hear you inquired about my playing experience and received the answer from beaussie that yes, yes I do indeed play.

You were going to play, then you wimped out crying injury.

Jealous? I kicked a couple of goals in the one game I played so hardly! I didn't lay on any tackles because I wanted the ball. You're not interested in the ball. Playing thugby, it's handed to you. In footy you have to earn it. But you wouldn't know about that.

Jealous?

:(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

You are the one who is jealous of me. All you do is whine and carry on like your opinion actually means something in the world. You crave attention. You crave approval.

And I've called you out on it. Wah Wah Wah!

Grow up.

Just knocked off your high score on Bugs Bunny Carrot Sweeper.

Alright Xman, this one's goin nowhere. While LG knows I've played and has spent considerable time thinking about which team and division I've been playing in this last season, he will never admit this reality. He's too proud and insecure.

Looooccccker up Xman :)

Getting back to the point.Surely league is harder to ref because noone knows the rules. That knock on my god.And not having a go tlpg but I loved tackling and when you lay a solid piece of body to clear a path no better feeling.

You are insecure, KE. Your refusal to admit that I've got you and try and divert to trivial matters like the Arcade proves my point. There were no teams mentioned in any PM by Beau to me - which further proves that you've never played.

That said - yes, Xman, this thread is going nowhere now. Lock please.

You've got me? :?> How?

Beaussie simply didnt mention my team, but you asked him for it

Pookus thankyou for providing us to get back on track. Yes noone seems to know the rules in RL anymore but this doesnt take away from the constant and ambiguous decisions AFL umps must make.

I got you because you refuse to tell me who you tried to play for. All the more proof that you've never played. Beau won't either because he can't. He doesn't know either, because you never told him. And that's again because you've never played.

The rules aren't ambiguous. The interpretations are. Many are judgment calls in AFL. The one they got wrong in the NRL on the weekend (I only saw that because they talked about it on Sportsline this morning on Sky News) wasn't down to interpretation. It was a straight up stuff up.

The problem league has like soccer is that the decisions they make reverberate a lot louder.A howler like the other night ruins the whole gameI felt sick watching it.Naturally I was going for the Qld team(ita a victorian thing  ) Hope those idiots in the box havent killed thurstons last chance.A traversty if they have.

Yes I understand that pookus but that's simply because they're incompetent not that the job is more difficult

Two of the most experienced guys out there and they couldnt get it right.AFL has some grey area to work in thats why they are umpires. And the umpiring rarely effects the result.Nrl has refs and is mainly black and white.Bad decisions always effect games, this year has been awful.Nah harder to be a ref than an umpire.
