Terrible work. Let's see some genuine real research into the history of it, hmm? 27 right now. Any more over the years?

Doubt it.

AFL wins - hands down.

Football is the most multicultural game in the country in my opinion. It is certainly more multicultural than thugby! As well as entertaining!

I'd be worried about Raiders predictions TLPG. As far as I've seen he's been spot on, or within an inch, in every one he's made thus far...

The only reason theyve dropped is live TV, renovations to some stadia, new expansion teams and one sided games. They wont drop any further now. The renovations are due to finish at the SCG and Geelong. The renovations to the Adelaide oval will be finished in 2014 so more increases due. The Suns and Giants are on the improve and will be competitivge within 2 years. The drop from live TV and more games outside AFL states has already occured and will not be repeated.

The AFL crowd average was at its weakest this year and will only go up from now.

Suns already beat a few teams. All their young players need is 50-75 games which they will have in 2-3 years.

Its not just me saying it. Most AAFL commentators believe it to. Why the hell would you believe Radier?

bs!

He predidcted a Perth team would enter next year. He was certain of it.

He also predicted the NRL would have similar TV scheduling to the AFL and that it wouldnt be ch9.

Wrong, wrong, wrong....

there was a time I believed the NRL would not match the AFL deal & would secure just over 1 billion
thats split up with all the bells & whistles added

now I believe the NRL will get the biggest deal in Australian TV History
1.275 Bill
with ratings going through the roof ATM
with our dominance of Pay TV looking like it will never end
we can't & won't be denied our rigtful place as the holder of the biggest TV deal in Australia
Wrong!

After taking into consideration a number of factors. Things like actual time on air and markets reached i have decided to hazard a guess at the $1.25 Billlion.
So you think a game that only has 3 FTA games a week and is only broadcast in NSW and QLD before midnight, will attract $1.25 Billion?

You do realise the current NRL broadcasting rights are only worth $500 millioin? Do you honestly think tv networks will pay almost triple what they pay now for a product that is only broadcast in two markets before midnight? Dreaming I tell ya. #-o
it will be a minimum of 4 FTA games a week from 2013
will be broadcast nationally in prime time from 2013 too .. with the minmum requirement being secondary digital channels in the Sthn States

the current deal is 500 mill only because we got diddeld .. it should have been at least the same as the AFL's

broadcasters want the NRL ... it is a ratings powerhouse as this season has proved .. its the only sport increasing its share
it is a juggernaut
split up cleverly .. yes , they will pay more then double what they did for the present deal.
wrong!

it is

but we're coming from a undervalued base through extenuating circumstances
more then doubling our present deal would be an amazing result

we'll take the lead & have the biggest TV deal in the land from 2018
So you will go from an undervalued deal to another? Maybe it's you who is overvaluing your product. :-k
I don't think a tick ova a Billion has us too far off where we should be from next year
but continued growth in ratings .. a 4th mainland capital city into our stable with all the extra flexibility in coverage times over here as a result .. & games on TV every week in Brisbane will see us have the biggest TV deal of any sport in the land from 2018.
wrong!
