If I had my way, the game would be moved to ANZ. Game this weekend has been sold out for weeks now. Ridiculous to think how much the Swans are missing out on financially because of the redevelopment going on at the SCG. Come finals time the AFL takes all the gate receipts.

I cannot imagine it wasnt. Looked absolutely full to the brim. Great game and amazing atmosphere. The ratings were fantastic too. Low hundreds for 7mate from syd bris and 343k foxtel which was shown in competition to another foxtel game and a FTA game.

Seriously, you're proud the NRL had a single game with higher attendance than an AFL expansion team playing the majority of games at a ground under construction?

Imagine if the storm could brag a higher attendance than all but one AFL game in Melbourne. I dare say the storms best crowd would struggle to beat most of the AFLs lowest crowds in Melbourne.

your just pissed off that the eels crowd that beat all the vfl games in NSW, ACT, QLD, NT and Tas this year also managed to be higher than most of the swans, lions, suns, and Giants TV ratings as well
