So it cannot be the judiciary system because the AFL copied the NRL setup exactly. How about the expansion into regional areas eg Newcastle,Wollongong,Townsville etc. Seems the NRL are allover that one.

Are you kidding me you delusional person.State of Origin is an AFL concept and as far as expansion clubs into non NRL areas you have the grand total of 1 I cant wait till you try to expand in to non traditional markets.The TV ratings in these areas are superb. Struck a nerve did we. Today the AFL has no representative games of any sort. The NRL has state,international,city/country and all stars games which all rate through the roof and are growing nationwide. So basically the NRL tap dances all over the AFL. Your 'challenge" was to show you one area where the NRL did better than the AFL not how important was rugby league versus soccer,for example, on the international stage. Additionally there are no prizes for having had an origin concept and not being able to make it work. With regards to expansion into regional areas, as opposed to non core markets, the NRL has clearly outpointed the AFL.

Australias native game means absolutely zip. We do take pride in our inventions when they impact the rest of the world but when no one else "listens" or even the majority of Australians dont care then best to go quietly.

The NRL game is so much better because off for having rep football. because players aspire to play representative football, they lift and the game lifts. The AFL would have rep football in a minute if they could just find somebody who'll play with them.
