The King is back on the road

Post by King-Eliagh »

Dearest members and sub-members (Xman and TLPG),

I'll be heading to New Zealand again shortly, all expenses paid and staying in only the best hotels the country has to offer, for business and pleasure purposes and I'd like for those who think AFL is really building over there to let me know where the grounds are. I have a camera and am happy to take some snaps of the ovals around town and post them up in here. Last time i went there wasnt an AFL field to be seen across the land. So dish out the details all you 'the AFL is growing at a rapid rate o/s' talkers and we'll see whether you're full of it or actually telling some truth :)

Yours sincerely,

King :)

Damn I should have done this on my fully sponsored trip to Perth for 3 days in May! #-o

Interestingly, I didn't see one single RL ground. Are there any? Don't the NRL want to place a new team there in the near future? Havent they seen the TV ratings of 2k on FNs? Didn't a RL team fold a few years back with crowds of 5k? :-k

AFL in New Zealand is played over the summer. So it's likely that the posts have been taken down. It happens even in AFL heartland.

So don't bother. Go during the season if you really want to be honest. But then that's alien to you isn't it?

Well I'm back and once again not an AFL field/setup to be seen. TLPG last i was there was in november and there was nada to see then also. Is the season on in november? If not please tell us more about this season they have over there.

As for perth and adelaide? They're two of the most isolated and tiny cities of the world. Who cares

Put it another way, of all the cities and town in Australia, and there would be hundreds, these cities are the 4th and 5th largest. I would say these cities have a larger population than the TOTAL SUM of the following cities which host NRL teams, like Canberra, Goldcoast, Townsville, Newcastle.

I know more than you do, because I use my eyes and my ears - and not my mouth. You don't care. You demonstrate that every time you post. You're lazy and to a very high level. So I don't believe you when you say "I looked". As far as you are concerned you shouldn't need to look - it's easy. I already in the past that such a lazy attitude doesn't get the job done - and that it proves nothing.
