Eg GWS V Essendon was on at 7.30pm melbourne time, while Adelaide V Collingwood was on at 7.00pm adelaide time (7.30pm Melbourne time).
Yeah Xman you are getting desperate now, making up all these ratings for PAY TV. Who do you think actually believes what you have made up? My guess is very little.
No making up figures champ, just adding the concurrent games, just like the NRL have done for years!

You do realize the highest rating NRL club game (which is actually 2) this year, including regionals, is still about 500k less than the highest ratings AFL game right? :-k

You do realize that the NRL recorded almost 4m for one of its rep games the other day, just one! There figures the AFL can only dream of

I agree with the Saturday afternoon issue though, hence I have not added all three games together. But in essence the game at 2.30pm overlaps with the early and late afternoon games, so in reality it can be combined with an average of the other two games for a true audience.

Enlightening figures aren't they! No wonder they have the NRL boys in a panic! :?>

What are you talking about? It was the highest rating Origin match ever, It outrated anything the AFL has ever managed - Three quarters of a million more than they got in 2006.

Idiot! The figures for the 2005 and 2006 AFL GFs I posted are without regionals! Including the 1 million AFL GF regionals makes these games easily over 4 million.

The 2005 AFL grand final rated 3,386,000 metro only. Compared to the SOO 1 this year that is about 800,000 more. Im not sure what the total was nationally for 2005. 2006 GF was about 3.1 million metro only.

The best the AFL can do is hope that the Swans make the GF. :D

Bit touchy arent you Xman? understadable I suppose  I was wrong, I though the figure incuded regioals. I guess you must look back at 2005-2006 as the good old days - the days when AFL ruled the roost

More to the point , how did the AFL rate on Sunday? AGAIN!I feel for ya

Ah no. They were games where the GF involved teams from more than one city. This arrangment benefits both codes you know.

Prime time helps too.The fact that the AFL GFs rate in the mid 3m to low 4m on Saturday arvo is astounding!

As piesman said, these figures are wrong because you've described your Friday night games as a single match. They are combined ratings from two matches so they should say something like: Rnd 1 live games ......

Prove it instead of just posting garbage.

I know for a fact there have been a few NRL games around the 1.4 1.5 million already, are you saying the aac (aussie rules anzac day game without the kiwis  ) rated over 2 million?

You guys said the same thing last year even though you know we have split rounds and not every friday night has 2 games, just like last year where the storm played the dragons and smashed everything the vFL put up outside semis and a GF
