Xman you think join the Aleague, NRL and Rugby super 15 and AFL is still in front? Mate how stupid are you.......
If rugby union and League joined together as one game it would outstrip the AFL in crowds, money with those to alone.
Stop making pledges for Keven shoddy and Demetruio mate its getting to your head.

What?
The AFL get over double the crowds of RL!
The AFL earn around double the Revenue of RL!
For your comment to be true RU would have to draw at least the same crowds and earn the same revenue as RL! We both know that isn't true don't we!

You do realise that you have to give us hard evidence to backup your claim that AFL is bigger then Rugby union and Rugby League togeather?
And after you are done there then you have to give us evidence that the AFL is bigger then Rugby union, league and Soccer put togeather as you stated.... i feel a BS point coming on for you XMAN.

The crowd figures, membership figures, and revenue figures are all well known and have been posted on this site many times. They favour the AFL by a factor of two or more.
http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/summary.html this shows the 2011 NRL average crowd of 16k. It also shows the AFLs 2011 average crowd of 35k. So over double.
This bs file shows posts proving the AFL has an annual revenue of around 1 billion dollars. The NRL are around half that at less than 500m.
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2869 This link shows the AFL double the NRLs revenue (excluding club revenue). The club revenues are also heavily in favour of the AFL clubs.

On the same day nominations for the commission closed, the AFL released figures that reinforced its standing as Australian sport's financial powerhouse. Among the more damning statistics were these:
* The AFL's revenue for 2010 was roughly double the NRL's at $335. 8 million -- the NRL's is roughly $170m;
* The AFL handed out more than $140m to its clubs -- the NRL gave its clubs just over $55m, although that figure does not include spending on marketing, education and welfare, and travel costs;
* The AFL's membership in 2010 was 614,251 -- the NRL's was 144,000, although again this is an area rugby league has finally recognised as a money spinner;
* Total attendance across the AFL also eclipsed the NRL -- more than 7.4 million people attended an AFL game last year. The NRL's total attendance was about 3.9 million.
NRL clubs yesterday acknowledged the massive financial gulf between the two sports but claimed it represented an opportunity rather than a cause for major concern.
The memberships are well known. The NRL have around 200k.
http://www.rugbyleague.com.au/nrl/2011_ ... e_game.pdf. The AFL around 650k.

So Ok, again, is RU as big as RL in Australia? If not, yes, the AFL is bigger than RL and RU combined.
http://www.convictcreations.com/footbal ... stats.html this link shows the RU and A league attendance totals are less than 1 million annually. So the AFL attendance easily accounts for all three codes put together!
It also shows the AFL almost double the number of media stories compared to the NRL, and in fact eclipse all three codes by a country mile!!
So yes, Throw soccer in too!
