Yes I said it could be six.

Are you feeling a little flustered? A bit hot under the collar? I know its been a rough trot lately. My advice is to stand by your words, this goes hand in hand with credibility, you'll feel more at one then matey.
You said it could be six but then can't tell me who the fifth or sixth teams are.

Are you really that stupid?? #-o

Lol Xman is funny, i would have to add Brisbane to the list also. They set a AFL record for being hopeless.

http://www.theroar.com.au/2012/04/16/vo ... -shackles/

So its 5 then.

Basketcase League
5 Brisbane Lions
4 Western Bulldogs
3 Gold Coast Suns
2 Melbourne
1 GWS Giants
So what's your definition of basket case? Brisbane have won a game already. The bulldogs have played 2 of the top teams. The suns almost beat essendon.

Don't the NRL have struggling teams on the bottom? :-k :^o

Brissy won against another basket case xman you idiot. I've told you that like 5 times.

And i identified the western b'dogs as a very possible 5th basketcase and clearly said there could be several more basketcases that arise in time this season. Thus my safety option of 4-6 basketcases. Its only rd 3 you know Xman!

The nrl teams on the bottom are able and have already produced several upsets. The basketcases in the AFL wont produce more than 1 a piece by mid season. They dont belong in the same league.

Why is this so hard to understand Xman, you have already conceded on the other thread that the AFL competition is uneven and there is no comp in the world that can match the uneven nature of the comp.

Find a post where I said that idiot! #-o

You need to define basket case. So far you haven't. A competition can be more even overall but still have weak teams.

This thread is titled lopsided comp, so you concede that the AFL is massively uneven well that's settled then.

End thread :D
I concede it is less even than the NRL, but far far more popular all the same!

So this is the second time you been caught out in 2 days
So an uneven AFL competition should not be to hard for you to understand hey Xman :D

A basketcase team is one that cant get more than 1 win against legitimate league teams within the first half of the season and in that time cops numerous thrashings i.e. melb brissy gc and gws of the AFL.

Parramatta Eels comes to mind in the NRL. Hard to disagree right.

No i have to disagree. While parra is on the bottom of the table they have already won one game against a team who is certainly not a basketcase. And like last season unfortunately, they do not cop thrashings but are competitive with almost all the top teams for more than 3/4 of the match. It makes for great viewing but as a fan its fukked watching them go down by so little points each week.

GWS, GC Brissy and Melb are completely incomparable with the eels, the NRL's cellar dwellars. As ive said, those basketcases are in a league of their own! I've never seen anything like it in professional sport, that not one, not two but between 4-6 teams in the one professional comp just dont cut the mustard one bit. The shamful hidings they receive week in, week out...they simpl dont deserve to be there this season...or last really. Think about the mothers and partners of these players watching their boys go out getting thumped like toddlers, week in week out....yes thats right, week in....week out. :)

And your explanation was ridiculous! The bottom 2 are uncompetitive. The next 2 are poor. The 2 above that will win more than the eels the year that's for sure.

brissy and melb are official uncompetitive basketcases xman. You'll se this when the suns play them. It'll be or should be close to even money in the betting and I wouldnt be surprised if GWS knock either melb or brissy off this season. :)

Bs. Brisbane are competitive. Otherwise they would have lost by 10-15 goals in Perth. The suns almost beat essendon. #-o
