Lets see who's correct on this around mid season dumbarse.

In fact im willing to bet on it. Hows about a bet for 10 dumbarse points and a 3 month long avatar of the winners choice placed on the loser.

The bet being that melb lie in the bottom 4 come mid season.

You standing by your words calling me dopey as they come and knowing nothing about the sport with my claims Xman? Brrrk brrrrk brrkbrrk.

Whether they are bottom four is irrelevant. You said they are uncompetitive. I'm saying they will beat teams which means by definition that they are competitive. Even the supposed even comp the NRL have bottom four teams!

Nothing new. I've already said the suns and giants would be uncompetitive. They will develop over the next 3-4 years. However it will be funny to watch them get higher crowds and membership numbers than many NRL clubs!

The rest of the comp is pretty even, especially the top 5.

Yes Eels even AFL fans know theres a big problem. I dont count Xman as an AFL fan any longer. He's a fan of his own fantasy world, nothing more.

Ok Xman I see you chickened out of the last bet by stating whether they are bottom four is irrelevant. So new bet with same wager is. Brisbane, Melbourne, GWS and GC will get no more than 1 win each against a side other than themselves by mid season. Even uncompetitive teams can have their lucky day in the big league. So essentially I'm saying these teams will be completely uncompetitive apart from **** themselves, with no more than one lucky result going their way each.

You man enough to stick by your words and say they'll be competitive? Brrrk brrrk brrrkbrrk

Yes I've told him the first step is to acknowledge there's a problem. The poor bastard cant even do this. Hopefully he bets though as it would be grand to make an example of him. Perhaps it will benefit all of us as then he may finally realise he's been wrong all along and move to a higher level of consicousness, out of his fantasy land.

Well Brisbane have a 50% winning result, many many times better than the 3 bottom teams in the NRL!

Melbourne will win games as well, just like the good results they had last year. they had 8 wins and 12 losses. If this is your interpretation of uncompetitive you're dumber than I thought! #-o

You've got nothing but reserves!

THE big blowouts suffered in Round 2 by Gold Coast and Greater Western Sydney did not deter viewers from watching the massacres live on Fox Footy.

An average national audience of 180,000 watched the live telecast of St Kilda's 92-point mauling of the Suns at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The Giants' 129-point loss to North Melbourne in Hobart on Sunday also attracted plenty of viewers. It was watched by an average audience of 170,000.

A top-rating game for Fox Footy would attract an average audience of more than 300,000.

Monday's epic clash between Geelong and Hawthorn worked wonders for Channel 7 and 7mate, peaking in the last quarter with 1.4 million viewers as the Cats won by two points.

The MCG game averaged 393,000 viewers in Melbourne.

Carlton's 91-point win against the Brisbane Lions on Thursday night had an average audience on Channel 7 and 7mate of 659,000 viewers nationally.

Saturday night's game between Collingwood and Richmond had an average audience on the Seven stations of 756,000 in the five metro markets, with 385,000 in Melbourne, 115,000 in Adelaide and 160,000 in Perth.
The Monday afternoon AFL game rated just short of 1million (average with foxtel) without regionals, and peaked at 1.4million without foxtel ratings! It therefore probably peaked near 2million when both are counted together. :D imagine if it was averaged over only 2 hours like the NRL!

Please show me a home and away afternoon NRL game that rates this well! The equivalent good Friday NRL game rated 490k without regionals, some 470k less than the AFL, and averaged over only 2 hours! :D

And it appears sportsbet think the floggings will continue into round 3, potentially worse than round 2 by their odds. It aint just GWC and GC either XMAN, but, but, but
Geel 1.20 v NMelb
Hawt 1.18 v Adel
WC 1.00 v GWC or 1.92 with 99.5 start
Ess 1.05 v GC
Frem 1.08 v Bris
Rich 1.25 v Melb

Really, now that is pathethic  , there is only 3 out of 9 games where either team have a chance of winning, according to sportsbet that is. They got it pretty right last year with the AFL, why would this year be any different.
