In Marngrook you get penalised if you aim for the man and not the ball. In two man tackles in RL you get penalised if you aim for the ball and not the man. Well said, ammusing and spot on. I met shane mumford, one of the enforcers in the swans side recently. His build in comparison to NRL players i've met was that of a svelte slimmed down version of lady gaga. I was pretty surprised.Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:Oh dear KE! Xman you should listen to raider sometime. He was also spot on with the prediction for the GWS first round crowd, unlike yourself or beaussie

but we know our game is played by men

so occasionally they'll go toe to toe & sort out their differences .... like men

society has done no such thing ... as it is still quite violent
& we all like a good stoush provided theres noone coming in from behind & king hitting ... or blind siding someone with an elbow ..mmmmm VFL style
thats the stuff society doesn't tollerate .. yet flogballers seem to think its tough
it is not
it is the way a coward behaves
& that sums up the VFL quite nicely

Ahhh no. Society punishes violence with the full force of the law. Try punching a person in the community and you risk criminal charges and possible incarceration. Yet on the RL field it's all good.Raiderdave wrote:no .. thats lifeXman wrote:So it's punished sometimes and not others? A disgrace and a rort!![]()
