marcus
give up

you have no idea about .. well .. pretty much everything

targeted .. not targeted , anyday of the week
our ratings for pay tv on sat's are amazing
586K for 2.. pretty average games .. in rnd 3

sundays ... are great
mondays .. we're averaging ova 300K a game
face it

League smashes VFL like a guitar on TV ..
that is all...
So they play the broncos almost every night for fun? Have a look at the ratings for your 9.30pm game. Atrocious!

Oh and give it a rest. Your city population rates at 700k or less from 7M and you expect us to believe you get the same or more ratings from 5.5M regionals?  fudge fudge!

The NRL claim victory from prime time FN live games but lose all the rest comfortably.

The 2 houred delayed Qld game isnt aimed at the Sydney audience and vice versa, that why they dont rate that highly.

Perhaps your theory could explain why Ch9.'s Sunday match (the 5th rated game of the nrl round) more often then not , rates higher in Sydney than Melbournes Ch.7 /10 match, rates on a Sunday in Melbourne?
Bingo! =D>

Thats a strange way to look at it :o Because as I said, those two broadcasts usually outrate the AFL rival matches

What, is that the best arguent you can come up with ?

Head to head:
Look at Sydney game Friday night. Look at the Melbourne game on Friday night. which one wins the ratngs more often than not.

Look at Qld game Friday night. Look at Adelaide best rating game, Look at Perths best rating game, combine and more ofthen not Qld will beat them.

Look at the Sydney ratings for the Sunday game. Look at Melbournes ratings for the Sunday game. Which one wins the ratings more often than not?

You said the 9.30 FN and Sunday games outrate the AFL games on at similar times!

That is just bs. The AFL at 9.30 on FN almost doubles the NrLs 9.30 game.

The AFL on Sunday smashes the NrL on Sunday every single week.

Where did I say that?

The figures are all there. What part are you having trouble accepting? Im almost certain the AFL's game on FN starts at 8.30.

And in which mythical land does this take pace, beause it sure aint this one!

It did last year. It went until 11.30. Both this game and the 9.30 NRL game were not targeted, delayed and shown from 9.30 to 11.30.

The AFL smashed the NRL every week. Same as Sunday.

The only change I'd make would be to say; " Look at Qld game Friday night. Look at Adelaide best rating game, Look at Perths best rating game, combine and the Qld will always beat them."

Are you comparing your FN live 7.30 games vs our FN delayed game at 8.30?

Are you comparing FN to SA, SN or Sunday?

Last year the best FN NrL game was the broncos v the titans which rated 348k in BRIS/GC

The best FN crows game was Ess v Adel which rated 181k in Adelaide, despite being on at 8.30, averaged over 3 hours, and delayed 1hr.

The best FN eagles game was WC v Geel which rated 244k in Perth and I believ this was also on delay.

So 348k is a lot worse than 425k, wouldn't you say?

The best FN NRL game in Sydney was 544k for Mel v STI

The best FN AFL game in Melbourne was 580k for Coll v Geel, despite the game being averaged over 3 hours.

So what was your point again?????

Im doing what I said I was doing!

and by the way; - under the heading of Friday night fotball :- "The Seven Network regained the rights in 2007, and from 2007–2011 generally showed the match at 8:30pm into Melbourne; this was a one-hour delayed telecast for most matches, but was a live telecast for matches in Perth. Other than Perth games, only sold-out matches were broadcast live into Melbourne. This was primarily to allow the popular Better Homes and Gardens to be broadcast in the primetime 7:30pm slot............"

The best NRL game in sydney on Sunday was Round 5 which was 357k.

The best AFL game in Melbourne on Sunday was Ess v coll which rated 390k despite 90k attending the game, averaged over 3 hrs, and directly against a foxtel game.

What was your point again??
