Do the tickets include members? I would say not. That means there's a lot more who will turn out for this game than just 21kRaiderdave wrote:Beaussie wrote:You're a fool. Probably never been out of Canberra.Raiderdave wrote:what a few hundred to a few games ?![]()

even in the event they pad the game with freebies n get to 40,000 odd that isn't beaten by a Sydney NRL crowd
the Swans used get that on their own ... without another " Sydney" side playing
gee whats happend to Vicky kicky in the harbour city ?

an appalling turnout anyway you look at it
but I don't think it will come to that anyway
only 21,000 tickets sold with a week to go ....

How do you know? Members get an allocated area so they wouldnt need to pre-order tickets unless the game is fully ticketted, which I doubt.
Sydney crowds were peak when Sydney were 1st on the ladder dopey, just like every other sporting club!

So a team, yet to win a game, kick a goal or even run onto an AFL H&A paddock is likely to outdraw the Swans top game !!!Raiderdave wrote:the Swans drew 38K against Collinsford last year
That puts GWS in the realms of Colllingwood or the combination of three nrl sides.,
Nice try Cos.

Rubbish. Members seats are not prebooked unless the game is fully ticketed. The experts are predicting mid 40's. You on the other hand seem to thin the current booking number is already the final figure. You're a complete idiot!Raiderdave wrote:every members seat is allocated & included in pre sales .....Xman wrote:How do you know? How can Swans members be allocated a members seat when it's a Giants home game and Swans members must purchase tickets to attend? FFS

you don't think the 2 Sydney VFL clubs wouldn't do a deal for the others members ?
the overwhelming number between the 2 clubs
gooses members get a deal for this game ... Midgits members for the return game later in the year
that'd be about........ 17,000. Sydney based members between the 2...in a city with 4.5 Million people .. would need special consideration as they may overwhelm ticket offices otherwise

believe me ... most Sydney based members of both clubs are included in the 20K
Xmans wish that they aren't is just more willy whacking on his part

Re: Over 20,000 Tickets Already Sold for Giants vs Swans
Not long now till the much anticipated showdown between beaussie and raiderdave takes place.
Just to add some perspective, originally the bet by beaussie was for a complete sellout of the match. He was riding hi on the media reports that an AFL tsunami was imminent in sydney town. As time wore on there was much confusion and taunting over the bet between the two with beaussie claiming RD was trying to weasel out of the bet. The following too and fro of wagers and bets was all very confusing and it was clear one of the members was too spooked to take on the challenge, but it wasnt clear which member was the scaredy kitten and was in effect backing out of the bet...
Months passed and a new bet formed. Much different to the old one. The bet effectively changed from a sellout to a 35,000k crowd, with RL needing to beat that crowd by R12 or 13. I'd have to say from the looks of things beaussie was the man weasling out of the original bet. He has now scored a much tastier looking wager from his viewpoint and while being a weasel you have to give it the guy for his weasling ability.
May the best man/weasel win.

What you think and reality are two very different things. Show even a shred of evidence to suggest the current bookings are all members of both teams!Raiderdave wrote:ahhh....Beaussie wrote:My god, you're such a fool.Raiderdave wrote:every members seat is allocated & included in pre sales .....

Man you are a fool. The only people using the term 'tsunami' were the Sydney media. You have adopted their idiocy like the idiot you really are. Even if there was an AFL tsunami it's hardly going to be from the very first game!King-Eliagh wrote:Not long now till the much anticipated showdown between beaussie and raiderdave takes place.
