Whooooaaaa there big boy! Remember you're just on this set for cameo appearances, dont try and run the whole show or people will think you're loopy like you were when you moderated this joint into the ground.

Now a player of such poor performing ability as Khunt sure can lose games for his team. As a back I know full well, and so does Xman, that its your job to stop goals being scored. Khunt let goals in other players wouldnt and hence, he's lost games for them already. He lets the team down, week in week out with his weak performance. Sure other players let the team down too but ol Khunty's consistent.

Btw TLPG my first trial game is on tmw. Cant wait to get out there and get a few kicks and big hits and marks in before the season proper =P~ It's gunna be GREAT! :D

But for Hunt it was proof that he belongs in the midfield, and that the former NRL star and new addition to the club's leadership group is nearing completion in his transition to the AFL. "I feel a lot more comfortable. I enjoy being around the ball," Hunt said.

He is confident Hunt has a solid future as an onballer.

"It's the way he's designed aerobically - he's such a powerful athlete," McKenna said.

"He's probably more akin to playing through the midfield in the modern game

I think Hunt can become a dangerous, attacking midfielder with his ability to step through heavy traffic. In two NAB Cup matches this season, Hunt has already shown massive improvement on last year. His game awareness and reading of the play have been noticeably different combined with a skill set that most born-and-bred AFL footballers would die for.He is now part of the club’s leadership group and has signed a two-year contract extension. All the signs are positive on the Gold Coast

And you believe this journalistic hype?

Ohhh Xman, you're a funny man indeed.

The best line is "its the way he's designed aerobically :_<> :puke: :_<>

Forget these words my dear Xman and lets just watch the unskilled golddigger play some ok?

I think you're prob right though Xman, he's prob made a pound or two for the AFL with dummy's like yourself lapping up Australias sub par journalism.

I believe the coach of the team and the sports experts commentators over you, yes. Is that surprising? #-o

Is that the coach talking?

This reality tv show just keeps gettin better!

A farcical situation indeed.

Xman I'm ashamed in you though that you believe the coach over me. Only time will heal the massive void in your noggin. Time and a review of the Khunts performance and stats as he takes on the professional midfielders of the AFL

But he's designed "aerobically"

I watch more league than marngrook. So what? I watch some victorian rules games but as i said i was over in the netherlands for three years and only started watching the AFL 10 yrs back. Not particularly interested in the names etc but ive got to know some, I just like watching and playing the game. And viewing the skills involved, whenever Khunts not playing

Now to get this thread back on track what another fantastic game of Rugby League just now. Down to the wire again, just amazing how even things are in the nrl. I cant see the AFL comp being anywhere near as close and competitive this season.

You mean a SYD v SYD NRL game infront of a diabolical 17k?

Tonight Essendon beat Sydney by 2 points and the Pies are just behind the Crows at half time. There's probably 20k at the crows game too, for a practice match, and it's not a local derby!

I think bluetongue on the central coast only holds 20k. I thought that was quite a decent crowd at a regional ground which doesnt have a team involved in th game.

NAB cup doesnt count Xman, you already told dave that. stick to your guns man you're all over the place.

17k for two national league teams from that state is a disgrace! #-o RL fans were boasting it would be a sell out!

It virtually was a sellout. The other thing is there's some hate for manly everywhere and particularly on the central coast, a location which has been the focal point of the north sydney bears comeback to the league. Bears fans hate manly.

In any case a decent crowd. I cant recall any league fan boasting it would sellout.

"virtually" a sellout means nothing in a ground with a small capacity. If there was decent support it would have sold out easily, even days before hand.

17000 in RL terms is decent support you dimwit. I think its around the avg for last season so at a regional ground where no team plays is a great turnout.
