Shutup Beaussie ya two bit Andrew Bolt reading racist.

Xman if beaussie agrees with cos on this one doesnt it follow that he gets a BS point? The precedent has been set before in these files somewhere... Hand it to him on a platter Xman! :<>

I mean we all know where cos was coming from but just because there's politically correct haters out there doesnt mean they're right. Andrew Bolt for crying out loud

The difference being you actually made the claim yourself. Beaussie didn't make the claim. He said he understood why Cos did. #-o

He never claimed it! He said he could see where Cos was coming from. If he had of entered into the debate and claimed "yes it is a black v white game" you would have a point.

Saying he was right, or that he understands his point of view, or agrees, or empathizes is not the same as making the claim himself.

That's a big call and a big precedent openning a can of worms IMO.
I was asked to give examples and I gave them.

I agree with you here.

I have been told to follow the "rules" of this bs club and as such I have tried to follow them even though they are bs.
I was asked to supply common usuage of the termininolgy and I did.
I cannot do anymore than that.
You can give me 999 bs points it doesn't matter.
When you allow parafeel to claim RFL= rl when it clearly isn't.
When you allow parafeel to claim 2 million "participants" when clearly they're not as we know it.
When people don't use the right terminology like AFL, VFL AF and AR just to trick people.

Just because I put forward an argument doesn't neccessarily mean I believe in it.
In this case I totally believe the nrl had a polically incorrect event, an aborigines vs non aborigines event, that in old terminology could be referred to as "blacks Vs whites". "Blacks Vs whites" is now not a polically correct term, indeed it's probably always been a racist term and I used the term in an effort to show that this event is indeed past it's used by date.
I believe the AFL was correct in dismissing the idea for having a similar event.
It seems there's enough of you here that seem to have no problem with this "blacks vs whites" event.
IMO, you need to come into the modern world.
Any event that has race as it's criteria is racist, by narrow defintion, despite how well intentioned the game.
Of the game was well intentioned. Well maybe, probably just an atempt to make more money.

You guys should really have some hard and fast "rules", not make it up as you go along.
It's all very logical.
If you are not going to allow the narrow view of "racist" then you cannot allow the narrow view of "across" or "participant".

And KE stop the bs, calling for this and that. It's so tiresome.
It was so peaceful with parafeel gone, yet you've seem to take on the position of clogging things with bs.
You think I care about something that has 20 threads about bs instead of 20 threads stopping bs !!
Nice try Cos.

OMG, this is one of the biggest shiiit dribbles I've ever seen. Clearly hasnt learnt his lesson, smack him with the dumbarse point Xman!

The fool still thinks the game is based on race when I gave him scientific links which debunk the entire concept of race. It's based on indigeneity cos. Oh and by the way, the term "aborigines" is seen as politically incorrect by many Aboriginals. #-o  Welcome to the 21st century cos, its not all black and white no more [-X

Whether people agree or do not agree that these types of games are politically correct is not the issue.
AS I have pointed out there are plenty of people out there who think they are not politically correct.
Some go so far as to suggest that these games are a throwback to the past.
I am pointing these facts out.

I am pointing these facts out because I am one of those people that think these games are past their used by dates.
Now, you can agree or disagree, but you cannot call me a racist for championing anti-racism.
Nice try Cos.

Just a reminder to all bs file participants - lighten up! It's supposed to be a bit of fun! Don't take it too seriously.

Just to put a final touch on this, the reality is (as I see it) Cos called the most recent game "Blacks v Whites". I called that wrong at the time and the BS point was rightly awarded.

Cos tried to establish a history of it as his defence. Now as a single point this is actually right. Back in the really racist days it was indeed like that.

But....heavy emphasis on "was". It's not like that any more, and that's what Cos isn't getting. I think.

Nicely said nsw but you could've added a little pepper there by calling him a dumbarse, i.e. one who simply doesn't 'get it'. Comon Xman, there'll never be a better op than now to slam a dumbarse with a dumbarse point :bounce: :compress: :bounce:
