hordes of AFL fans converge on blacktown
Re: hordes of AFL fans converge on blacktown
Your stupidity knows no bounds!
How are they going to double subscription rates in southern states when they are already around 28%? They're hardly going to get to 60% you moron!
Subscription rates are no doubt climbing as shown by the ratings on the weekend. But the season proper will show the improvement and it will continue over some years.
You seem to forget that the NrLs best games last year only rated in the mid 300's for payTV. How is a practice match going to get 500-600?
The fact is the AFL beat the NRL when the NRL had two established teams playing and the AFL had a new team with modest and yet established support.
You're stuffed for payTV this year. It's over!

are you serious ?
a game between the world famous Collinscray ... & the tsunami
beat our charity shield by just 15K
it should have doubled it
another embarrasing result for the AFL ....![]()

And the fact that it was half a game, and we still beat the Charity Shield is a major victory!

A peak audience of 464,000 tuned in to see the Round 1 blockbuster between the Bulldogs and Tigers, with the match securing an average of 365,000 viewers - an all-time record for rugby league on FOX SPORTS. This result surpasses the previous record of 361,000 set in last season's Round 21 match between the Parramatta Eels and Sydney Roosters.
that looks like mid 300s to me.

Corrected again, and there is no decline. A half game of AFL at 9:30pm beating a popular pre season NRL game between two traditional rivals. I call that a big victory.Raiderdave wrote:the AFL bumbled their way to a tiny win when they should have murdered the NRL on sat nite

Hmm that was a record audience for the NRL on foxtel last year. If you have consistently higher ratings I'd love to see them.Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:http://mcn.com.au/News/Detail.aspx?IdDataSource=599

Why would I write up a file you don't even acknowledge? There aren't two rules here. If your in then fine. So far you haven't been involved once.Raiderdave wrote:NSWAFL wrote:Call BS, idiot! That's just handing a B&S point to Xman!Raiderdave wrote:

Re: hordes of AFL fans converge on blacktown
So I'm happy to write it up if youre actually going to participate in them. But you can't call others for BS and then completely ignore the multiple cases you are called for.
Which is it?
