Is targeted only in RL?
What I mean is, I see the ratings for vfl and they have home games in home states to boost ratings every week, do you hear RL fans using this and making but but buts?
Nope, we get on with kicking your arse regardless

how do these merkins explain rnd 25 last year
NSW & QLD both got the game out of Melbourne
Dragons & Storm
839K Metro
571K regional
exactly who were we targeting then ?

Ive already explained this multiple times. The entire NRl heartland is in two states. All they need is 1 live game with a popular team from each of those two states, combined with live and in prime time, and the ratings will come. This is the strength of the current setup of the NRL. the AFL cannot do this because it is too spread out. They can never get a game that involves each of their heartland states at the same time. They can never get a game that is shown in prime time and live in each of these states because they are separated by 2 hours and the game goes for 3.Raiderdave wrote:ParraEelsNRL wrote:Not all the time as has been proven many times now.

The strength of the AFL is it is national and appeals to each market to varying degrees.
This is why the AFL get such good ratings, and usually win the GF battle. For once the game is live in to each state for both the NrL and AFL games, and generally speaking, appeals to the entire nation equally. This is a more comparable measure of the level of support nationally.
Are you saying that Melbourne is RL heartland?Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:Ive already explained this multiple times. The entire NRl heartland is in two states.
