Naughty XMAN fudging with my posts.
Re: Solution to NRL's current crisis
They have enough supporters to do that. What would be the point of the NRL clubs begging to their measly supporter base? These somcalled fans won't even attend the games FFS!
Apologies Cooee. Hit edit instead of quote.

Clearly the AFL club model is broken when clubs rely on supporters bailing them out.

There is a problem with enequal distribution in the AFL.cooee wrote:Clearly the AFL club model is broken when clubs rely on supporters bailing them out.
I suggest that pales into insignificance compared to the inability of nrl clubs to get into the black.
Nice try Cos.

How is it a problem when the fans pay and it works. Seems the only way many nRL clubs survive is to leech off a wealthy owner.cooee wrote:Clearly the AFL club model is broken when clubs rely on supporters bailing them out.

Re: Solution to NRL's current crisis
All clubs on solid ground in the AFL.
Only one club in the NRL on solid ground.
Easy to see who's failing on several fronts.

Re: Solution to NRL's current crisis
The vast majority of AFL clubs sirvive without any league handouts. They have massive revenue without any AFL handouts. And the nRL?Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:How is it a problem when the fans pay and it works.
