Yes, interesting banter here folks. Dave doesnt need to participate in the BS files if he doesnt want to, noone does. If they were run with a touch more objectivity perhaps they could become a formality for those who participate in tfc but since the bias is there, then noone need participate. And if Xman continues to banish coadjudicators simply because they have a difference of opinion then the place will always remain biased. Simple stuff.
And very interesting point that the NRL has a higher percentage of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders! WOW! I always thought and was led to believe by AFL supporters that they had the higher percentage of Indigenous players, and that their sport was better connected to Indigenous Australia. Now I really have to rethink this as, well simply, the NRL obviously has the relatively higher numbers. RL is obviously a sport Indigenous Australia loves just as much, if not more than AR.
Now I know, as I actually coached Aussie rules for a bit in Alice Springs, that there are significant programs the AFL run in the nt and remote Australia but the figures Xman presents back up a much earlier argument i had with TLPG. There should be an AFL team in the NT. The AFL obviously dont really seem to care about all their Indigenous stars who come from the territory (though they like to show them off) as they simply dont bother to have a team there...because it wont give them the money.

A disgusting attitude and disrespectful to the territory in Aus which has the highest percentage of AR participants. And I can tell you now from my brief coaching experience, there'd be twice as many stars like Jurrah, Rioli, Davey etc etc if they established a team in Darwin, but no no no its not "viable". I saw the talent in the teenagers I coached, serious talent, but leaving their country and community is a tough thing. A team in Darwin would make things much easier.
Interesting discussion folks, turning on some lightbulbs.
