Swans struggle
Well it was a good tough game today but i thoght the swans struggled in a few areas. They looked tired late in the third quarter and their disposals were pretty messy throughout. Credit to the roos though they hussled hard but the penalty count seemed lopsided?
Two things the swans seem better at this year is getting out of their fifty after the opposition scores a behind which i think was a big prob last year. Also they are more balanced in kicks to handballs ratio which is a positive. but today they were just too messy.
i still think tadg kenelly should be in the halfs, it seems a big waste of his skills and kicking ability to have him pegged in the backs?

They have to win one soon, surely, they have a fairly decent looking list when it's playing well, and fit. I cannot see why they cannot in a few years win a flag.Grim Reaper wrote:What's new.....the day I see the Ca Swannies win a Grand Final is when I convert to the NRL!
Though I have said the same about a couple of other sides, and they have done nothing since.
Dave.

And croc I gotta a feeling the swans will topple your lions tonight. They have a good history against your bunch of dirty playing scoundrels so we'll just see....we'll just see....

Some say we did in fact sign Wallace and ended up having to pay him out when members demanded Roos. Anyway tonight is going to be interesting and the Swans usually do match up well on the Lions. Hope we play better than we did last week. If not we will get smashed.Matrix wrote:I really only thought Roos was going to be as short term coach, what happened to Sydney chasing a real coach? Surely if they tried they could of gotten with Eade or Wallace.
