If a network is willing to show ESL then there is no way that NRL will be lost to NZ TV.

The probably picked up the ESL for nothing. Why wasn't Sky TV interested? Hmm, I suspect as they have said already, RL's ratings continue to fall so they're not interested.

Because Maori TV shows RL each year and have for years. They have a contract with Manly to show every game each week live on their station regardless if it's being shown on Sky sports. Maori TV also shows local NZ RL like a game per week from the local comp right through to the GF and other internationals like the Pacific cup.

It is no small TV station.

And seeing as we have the throng as well as metro and regional tam out here, I see no reason why you (Bea) should not put all the ratings in for RL and AFL this coming season from all sites
