How has that got anything to do with which code was first to stage a game on ANZAC Day. I would have thought my quote was about the situation in Melbourne alone. Is that not obvious?

And Melbourne's players are keen to ensure their third Anzac Day match becomes an annual event to sit alongside the traditional Essendon-Collingwood AFL clash.
