6 Month Search FAILS to Find a Sponsor for Raiders

The Raiders meanwhile... oh that's right, you heard from the lady at the Raiders front office that an announcement was coming after a search for just one sponsor has failed miserably.

the Raiders can cover not having a sponsor if that indeed ends up being the case
they are a very well run club who over the last 10 years ... planned for any contengency where money is concerned

their stategy ... buy licensed clubs & their poker machine licences
they bought 10
in the ACT .. country NSW & QLD

they bought & paid for land on which they built ... a state of the art training facility on Hayden Drive near Canberra Stadium
it is seriously one of the best going around ...
they also own another block of land with another training facility in the city at Braddon ... used for its junior sides
its on prime land ... Its value ... gee an F'ing lot

how many permanent training facilities does GWS have bearsy ?.............. oh thats right ... NONE

the Raiders are a club that can easily cover there present situation if it doesn't resolve itself ... which I understand it will anyway.
unlike the brumbies
they have nothing like the raiders ... no set up like them ... no facilities like them
just a wing n a prayer that a project to sell their delapadated training ground at Griffith to developers gets up
they've gone cap in hand to the ARU to get through their present difficulties .... as they have on 3 occasions to the ACT Govt for the same thing
they're on thin ice
