Well I think you're overestimating a little there Xman.

RL CROWDS are lower than AFL crowds. But that's been established and agreed upon by every member of this forum. So why you AFL folks bother bring it up is beyond me and requires serious clinical assessment.

This thread is about international footy. And if you folks cant see the truth in parraeels pictures and descriptions and admit you got a looooooooong way to go, in fact further than the NRL has to go in terms of crowds, to catchup to international RL. And if you folk cant admit that, then clinical assessment wont help, shock therapy might, but prob wont either.

Thoughts cos amd xman?
My comment is totally relevant!

International could also be termed world-wide.

And worldwide AFL is bigger than all RL leagues put together.

NFL is probably not played in as many countries as RU. BUT NFL is clearly the bigger sport world-wide.

Xman it should be pointed out that the only time the NFL shows any world wide interest is for the Superbowl. I question the claim otherwise.

The biggest sport world wide is soccer.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

I disagree. I know plenty of people who follow the NFL.

But are they interested outside of the Superbowl on the same scale as the interest in soccer?

I never mentioned soccer. It's clearly the biggest code in the world. I referenced RU and the NFL to show that despite RU being played in more countries professionally, the NFL is still bigger.

Xman, lets not convert the term international to 'worldwide' for your own purposes. You know good and well what I mean by international. Now bow down and behold RL's utter and complete dominance over AFL in this aspect or forever look like a weasling, ignorant tosser who has not surpassed the tantrums of his toddler years and is unable to accept that they're sport is not the f'ing be all and end all.

League supporters have acknowledged AFL's dominance in crowds so many times yet I have not seen the same manliness in AFL supporters here...this is disappointing as I prepare for my third season of AFL...

Youve acknowledged AFLs dominance in crowds. How big of you to acknowledge something that is easily quantifiable!!

For me the term international isn't as clear cut. My interpretation of international is different to yours. I see it as the size of something on a world scale. Im sorry if that doesn't fit your interpretation. I'm sure you'll get over it.
