2012 - One year closer to the death of the NRL

Post by AFL Warrior »

Yes folks here we are in 2012. It will be a good year to watch the NRL flounder from one disaster to another while the AFL reigns supreme throughout the nation. Wonder what rape scandals will happen in the NRL or drunken bogan moment will occur with Todd Carney? I wonder what sort of pathetic apologies these fools will say to the media when busted. But one thing is a certain...so long as the Sun rises in the morning there will be endless scandals in the NRL and the public will walk away from this garbage code. =D>

Or another drug scandal that will go hidden. Remember some of their high profile players have played their entire careers only to admit later they had a drug problem all along. They were mysteriously never caught. 8-[

Amazing given the NRL clubs themselves look after the drug testing and have been shown to do a poor job.

Yet NONE of the drug testing results are released to the public for inspection.

Sweep sweep

Oh no don't start that again, AFL Warrior! :D
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

Yes this is the 104th prediction or is the 105th prediction of the death of rugby League with only the names changed. Originally the rugby crew now the AFL experts. So do we have a day in mind? The Mayan calender is very specific about the end of the world so surely the combined wisdom of the AFL crew can do like wise.

If the NRL signs a new TV deal for a lot more money for five years, this year, does mean death has been delayed? Again.

PS The "death" of League has worked out wonderfully well for Union

The more it dies the happier I am then.

RL is the cockroach of world sport, you couldn't kill it with an axe.

BTW, love the fear.

This time the prediction has more weight than it ever has on the previous 100 plus attempts.

Yes the last five years have been a "disaster" for the NRL. TV audiences only up 50%,crowds 20% while this year they have live with the humiliation of only getting a $500m increase in revenue for next year. Further tragic increases in the number of juniors like last years 8% and who knows what will happen to the NRL.

If the AFL crew who feel it necessary to death-ride the NRL actually used a fact of figure or trend that showed a decline in the NRLs position then maybe there's a debate. Otherwise it shows some deep seated Freudian issues about the NRL bogeyman scaring little AFL suporters in their beds.

NRL crowds have actually gone down from last season.

2011 - 16273

2010 - 16406

http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/summary.html

Hmm, what's going on there? Still a embarrassing average in any case. 16k and dropping lol

As for tv ratings, we don't believe your BS no matter how many times you repeat the rubbish.

Not to mention false TV ratings.

Very embarrassing! Like how does an average that low actually go down?? Imagine how low it would be if they didn't count staff, players and the like! 8-[

That's the most embarrassing part. The average crowd numbers actually went down despite all the proven fudged crowd figures in 2011. Imagine what the real average is? Oh dear. 8-[

Yes the average crowd dropped slightly last year. Place called QLD had a bit of rain.

Actually what happened with the AFL average last year? Actually think it fell lot more than the NRL. Actually the rugby and soccer crowds fell alot last year also.

Here is some late breaking news the NRL did a better job in maintaining average crowds than any other football code.

Oh FFS, just admit that the already low NRL average is even more embarrassing when the numbers drop despite the crowd figures being fudged/inflated.
