And cos, i know you read my pre revised post, and i know you're big on staying on topic, but ****, threads will go in the direction the active posters want them to go, IMO off topic posting isn't a bad thing if the interest in the the OP wasn't there to begin with, of topic discussion actually saves some threads IMO.

I understand that, but I get sick of seeing posters who I can't see anymore because I've blocked them constantly showing up on my screen and then users like yourself saying something that is off topic. It's why I distract by calling them burps, farts or meows. The whole point of the Fight Club is to fight about the subject matter of the OP. Even if it can just be related to it, it will do.

The whole point of the Fight Club is to fight about the subject matter of the OP. Even if it can just be related to it, it will do.

Totally agree and worse than that is having the same argument across all the different topics.
I was challenged to show there was more than 60k people playing Australia Football outside of Australia
and I met that challenge quite simply and easily within the the criteria demanded.
For people to say they don't accept the word of independant government offices like the ABS of DFAT is ridiculous
but then to go on and accept ratings as gospel but only the bits they like is ludicrious.

Parafeel, you say there cannot be that many AR participants overseas because that would outnumber rl participants,
well I'll just have to accept your word that AR participants outnumber rl participants. The good news is that there is three countries close by to Australia that have good and increasing numbers of people playing AR. When more of these players reach senior ranks then there could be big implications.

Parafeel, you didn't accept my challenge out of fear of losing. I am not going to post just to please you.
You don't accept anything and you cannot even add up the simplest of numbers.
If I post my picture of AR overseas then you're just going to deny them for some reason.

Funny thing is the AFL and NRL leagues are far and away the biggest leagues of either code world wide.

And on almost every measurable indicator the AFL dwarfs the NRL!

Quite obviously when you have figures like

RSA 20k participants
PNG 27k participants
NZ 16k+13k+6700 participants there cannot be many expats.

Parafeel has only proved he likes looking at pretty pictures. Lots of pretty pictures.
He has selected a lot of old photos of some formative teams.
The China Blues for instance are an orignal team in China (I believe). (I don'tknow whether they still exist)
With the help of the Melbourne FC and AFL on Chinese TV AR is booming in China with leagues in Being and Shanghai.
China sent a team to the 2011 IC . There is a photo of the Chinese team on Worldfootynews.com. They look nothing like Aussies to me. Expats are barred from the International Cup.
You might find the original (expat driven) team in Japan, but it plays in one of at least three leagues there now.
I don't go there because all the sites are in Japanese. The French site is in French. I was amazed just how little English is spoken in French Footy - virtually none. I could go on a case by case evaluation and I would if I thought you would be in anyway half sensible. I can address the expat issue easily but it seems you don't accept the 60k participants even though I followed through on all demands ..

136 Million sets of peepers watching it in 2011 .. to just 128 Million watching AFL
is proof

How the fark would your mythical 60k out number RL participants in other countries you ****** when there's well over 200,000 in the UK alone?
