Probably because he knows he's not telling the truth and he's not waiting to be exposed.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

Right I have to post and call you out on three of those locations you gave on the other thread because I recognised the locations. Actually four only because I know the place as it hosted a wrestling show in it's rooms in late October.

Baynes Reserve - That's Portland's home ground in the SA Amateur FL, so it's an AFL ground!
Holly Reserve - That's Hackham's home ground in the Southern FL
Quick & Bradley - That's Mitchell Park's home ground in the SAAFL

As for Spruance Oval, that's the home of the Northern Wolves Soccer Club. The rooms hosted former WWE wrestler Raven at the end of October.

I'll bet the others are soccer grounds like Topper said! So can it, Dogs!

tell me peanut
is League played on them ..... because thats all Dogs said
& that he has seen RL posts set up on them .... & I'd say they do have league played on them ... he did see RL posts set up on them ... so what he said is 100% accurate & correct

I must say this is all rather bloody confusing. Dogs I followed that route and can confirm Beaussie's suggestion that there are no real visible signs of RL fields, but there were some soccer fields, but i dont think more soccer than AFL. I was disappointed as I didnt think you would not have made sure that this is truthful, and the NRL mob are generally far more objective and truthful than the AFL lot here. But then I see you post the link to the ARL venues and grounds which proves there is a comp running there and it seems they are on the venues you suggest...

Not sure which way to go with this one :?
KE, I would suggest you have been a little blindsided by the AFL boys on this one, lets go back to the start which is the bet. I will be posting up responses shortly when I research their postings as there is no visible AFL fields on Main North road (as per the bet). This bet has always been based upon what I saw when driving along main north road. With the directions I gave. It is soccer or RL field/s, not just RL fields, although there is one as I have always suggest and hae the website that supports it. I can guarantee you that I did not see an AFL field, so my thoughts are that anything that has been posted up by these boys is quite a few streets back and I would never have been able to see them, hence why I was clear that they were to be visible and my bet still stands.

So here is my bet that you suggested you will take; there are more visible Soccer or RL field/s when driving along Main North Rd in Adelaide than AFL Fields, based upon the following directions.
Steps
Googlemaps Select
Get Directions
A - Mawson Lakes, South Australia
to
B - BAE SYSTEMS, Taranaki Road, Edinburgh, South Australia

How do we proove it, give your steps in this thread to locate your field on googlemaps. A RL supporter will verify mine and AFL supporter will verify yours. We also have to be verified by the opposition supporter. You can submit website links, but it must be approved by both supporters.Dogs

Ok, I didn't believe you before and now I definately don't believe you after following the steps you've listed above. You must have thought we were stupid and wouldn't actually look.

Well I for one have and the only sporting fields I can see are clearly Australian Rules grounds (Salisbury Oval and Brahma Lodge Oval and even from the starting point at Mawson Laks the ground looks oval shaped with no sign of rectangular codes existing). The grounds are clearly Australian Rules grounds that much is clear when one zooms in via satelite view on google maps and see the shadows of the Aussie Rules goal posts on the ground.

Other than that, just lots of industrial land on the route listed below. You have nothing Dogs and like I suggested before you should back away from this bet. You just look stupid. #-o

http://maps.google.com.au/maps?saddr=Ma ... 2&t=h&z=13

Get Directions

Suggested routes
16.2 km, 25 mins

Main North Rd/A52
Driving directions to BAE SYSTEMS
Via Main North Rd - remove

Mawson Lakes SA
1. Head south-east on Mawson Lakes Boulevard 22 m
2. Take the 1st left on to Main North Rd/A52 4.5 km
3. Turn left onto Frost Rd 210 m
4. Turn right onto Francis Rd 350 m
5. Take the 1st right on to Progressive Way 130 m
6. Turn left onto Main North Rd 700 m
7. Turn left onto Cambridge St 100 m
8. Take the 1st right on to Cheam St 110 m
9. Take the 1st left on to Park Tce
Go through 1 roundabout 2.2 km
10. Slight right to stay on Park Tce 52 m
11. Turn right onto Salisbury Hwy 1.3 km
12. Slight left towards Commercial Rd 81 m
13. Slight left onto Commercial Rd
Go through 1 roundabout 750 m
14. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Purling Ave 3.0 km
15. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto West Ave
Go through 1 roundabout 2.1 km
16. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Taranaki Rd
Go through 1 roundabout 750 m
BAE SYSTEMS
13/63 Taranaki Rd
Edinburgh South Australia 5111

So Beaussie, using the scale on googlemaps, I would suggest that Salisbury Oval, Salisbury, South Australia is around 1-2km away from Main North rd, so I am suggetsing that is definiately not visible (when driving along Main north road)

As for Brahma Lodge Oval it is well behind 200m of houses, so there is no way I or anyone else would have seen it either.

I will get back to you on the RL field, however to be clear and read the bet again if need be. I made a bet purely based upon what was visible. I have supported it with the address's from the ARL website, you must remember that the bet is visible ovals when driving along main north road.

Therefore, AFL fields are still a big fat 0 (as per the bet)

So please explain the following smartarse, if I saw the oval with my own eyes, the RL field at Spruance Oval that is and it is supported on the ARL website. How do you explain that I am wrong, when all each and every one of your correspondences are verbal with no evidence supporting that it is not a RL field.

TLPG you were correct on one front, but I suggest you do a little more research before opening your big mouth. The soccer fields are on one side of Main North rd and RL field on the other. Get back on subject, this thread is about a bet that there is more visible soccer fields or RL fields when driving from Mawson Lakes, along on Main North rd to BAE systems, Taranki Rd than AFL fields. So thankyou for also confirming one piece of the bet (that there is more soccer fields) that there is soccer fields at Spruance oval which is on Main North rd.

You all keep tip-toeing around the bet and the fact is, that I am right. So beaussie, if you read the bet, yes I am still prepared to take the bet, there has been not one piece of evidence suggesting that there is a visible AFL field/s on Main North Rd. Everything is verbal about trying to suggest that the RL field does not exist. However, I have proof it exists. I suggest you put your focus somewhere else, i.e trying to find a AFL that is visible from Main North rd within the boundaries that were so gracefully excepted by the princess warrior in this bet.

Here is my supported of what I say direct from the ARL website. And so there is no disputing it, I have posted the website and navigation supporting what I am saying. Again, I have backed up proof of what I am saying. There is none from any of you AFL lying fans, except for verbal diahrear with no support of what you all put up in these threads. Hence, why I confined the bet to one thread.

Here you go: ](*,)
Go to: http://www.australianrugbyleague.com.au/
Then navigate to State Leagues
Select - South Australia
Select - Club Locations & Maps
Hey Presto -

Club Locations & Maps

Central Districts - Spruance Oval, Elizabeth East

Cougars - Baynes Reserve, Port Adelaide

Eels - Churchill Road North, Dry Creek

Norths - Hanson Reserve, Woodville Gardens

Souths - Sports & Community Centre, Hackham

Tigers - Sports & Community Centre, Mitchell Park

There is my backup, were is any of you dumbo's other than your nonsense which has been all been verbal diahear. [-X

:-k Yep you have no support
That's not back up. You have nominated venues that are primarily NOT RL venues! Topper IDed the two that I missed. Sharing doesn't count. I join the call for you to admit that there are NO RL venues in Adelaide. Those are all venues that host other codes and this has been proven. You can not claim them as RL grounds - so don't try.
Oh my, so, if there is a website that suggests there is a club there, with a registered club suggesting you can play for their RL team and it has a set of RL goal post on it that I have seen with my own eyes, and you are trying to suggest that there is no RL field?

Are the posts there for the duration of the winter without being taken down to make room for another sport or football code? The answer is NO! Therefore - there are no RL fields. End of.

Completely correct, TLPG. There are no RL fields anywhere outside of New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.
