Yes, its taken those AFL mugs a while to realise how lucrative this coast is. Too late really, RL is established here forever.

And here we have an exquisite example of the level of humour understood by a bogan neanderthal racist child. If only I could throw a net over you and get you into the museum 'Warrior'. I'd be a wealthy and famous man.

And meanwhile you still can't tell us who Tubbs is. Tubbs you fool, Tubbs!
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

they are NOT popping up everywhere at all are they ?
I've noticed more and more Aussie Rules grounds popping up all over the city and outer suburbs of Sydney. I know you and your LU friends have noticed too.

Our game is growing. How's your code going outside in VIC, SA, TAS, WA, NT and even NSW and QLD. I'll tell ya, in decline.

They don't even have their own grounds outside of New South Wales and Queensland.

I've seen posts popping up on the way out west so I agree, AFL grounds are popping up a fair bit. I dont know how many but I'd say I've spotted at least 20 new sets of posts in the sydney region over the past 10 years. To me I got no probs with this as I've used some of these grounds to play on and I know the city of sydney to be the largest in aus and one that can easily accommodate for the small neiche market that aussie rules currently and probably will always tap into.

And beaussie saying LEague is in decline is a bit far fetched dont you think? There's that passion overboiling again. Keep it in perspective folks, especially you AFL lot eh?

I think it is in decline. It's not a downward spiral, but it's going into red territory.

Into red territory! Crowds are up, tv audience is up, the last few seasons have been absolutely ripping competitions in terms of closeness and skill and the NRL is soon to be in for a bucket load of cash. I think its pretty green pastures for NRL at the moment.

Only one nrl team made a profit and are threatening to mutiny unless they receive more cash.

Official crowds are down.

Average audience is down.

So the pendulum will see some very ordinary stuff in 2012.

With Murdoch, Ch10 and CH9 under pressure and Fox focussing on new AFL subscriptions and the general world economy the nrl will be lucky to receive any extra monies.

It's a pity you cannot take off those rose dubbed glasses and have a bit of a rational conversation.
Certainly it's the opposite of "green pastures" for the nrl ATM.
The nrl has come through some shocking scams in it's history so it is quite resilient.
It has it's small hard core of supporters. That's the nrl. It's their problem.

That doesn't interest me that much. I'm happy with the way Australian Football is developing and that's the only thing that really matters to me. The fact that these "code wars" exists only serves to highlight the fact the GWS is a viable concern and can attract new fans previously not seriously aligned with any code/club.
Nice try Cos.

There's no point speaking to King-Eliagh, cos789. He is a fool, a liar, under-educated and completely out of touch with the real world.

You really expect us to believe that when the Titans as a prime example were busted numerous times this year fudging their crowds.
