Ivory Tower in League Heartland

Post by King-Eliagh »

Hi folks :wave:

Just reporting from my hotel room overlooking the harbour. I must say I think I now know a bit what it feels like to be in an ivory tower as I watch the yachts sailing into the distance. To all those who have before suggested I'm posting from an ivory tower (thats TLPG, Truthslayer, and Topper but lets just call you all TLPG for short :lol:) nows your time to suggest it again! :D

Anyway when I look into the distance I think I can see a rugby league field. I'll scope it out on friday if I can and report back then. Yeeeaaahp definitely in League Heartland here.

:cheers: from my tower!

When did TLPG suggest that? I would consider that a compliment as he would have shown a good level of intelligence. He has already assisted me greatly so if you wish to be accurate perhaps calling me an unintentional mouth piece for TLPG would be correct.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

'Warrior' thanks for asking my whereabouts. It is timely you ask actually, as after long travels around the north island I am now back in the business lounges awaiting my flight. How's your caravan and the trailer park you're living in going?

Final report for all in TF land. AFL is next to non-existant in this country. Apart from TLPG's website I have not found a skerrick of evidence suggesting that anyone over here has ever seen or heard about the game.

NZ = League Heartland.

And who really cares about what those sheep shaggers in NZ do? They can stick to their boring league while in Australia we can have AFL all to ourselves. If you love NZ so much King-mywifeisaewe then stay there and don't come back.

No, I'll be back on the next flight. AFL is my sport too ok 'Warrior'? I enjoy it quite a lot. I just dont think its as tough, fast and aggressive as league. And i think some of their fans are bogan trash because they come from the south of australia, where the bogan originated and has resided for some 40 odd years now.

The bogan originated and is in his/her habitat in the south of australia. Redfern parramatta have very few bogans. Pemwiff has its fair share but still nothing like the percentage of bogans that reside in all south australian, victorian and southern western australian towns. They're on every street corner and commonly found in professions such as teaching, politics and local council. They're integrated there and you are one of them AFL 'warrior'. Now git back out there and pick some moe cotton so you can make your caravan the faaaanciest wheels in the trailer park :)

People in NZ don't like RL, they love Union.

King-Eliagh, what is a fluffer? In English, please.

The Auckland AFL competition exists, which is more than what many of you RL supporters believed and has existed for nearly 40 years.
