Correction. The debt will be cleaned up with ease thanks to clubs supporters and sponsors. And maybe even the local council who have always been supportive of the club.

whadda going to do ... double the price of a membership & put the admission price up to $500 a seat to get in

No it was the builders that "muffed" it. AFL fans will always help their club out of such situations and put in that little bit extra. True supporters always do. It's a shame that NRL clubs don't have that sort of support.
