He was talking about "****".

You NRL fans can make TV numbers prove anything you want to. There are lies, damn lies and statistics.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

"****" is a term that attacks the disability culture. A culture can be technically a race even if it isn't in physical terms.

How old are you anyway? 12? Shouldn't you be at school? Oh maybe you are on a school computer I guess.

Hi Topper  ,

You've kindof walked in the back door havent you? Could you introduce yourself please? :)

Now your comment above makes it clear you need some education. So here you go. Firstly, disability can not be associated with culture. In fact, when you give it some thought, to do so would be somewhat discriminatory. Secondly culture cannot be "technically a race". Comprehende? I'm happy to explain further if you need :)

And perhaps you should be steering clear of the comments about schooling in future. Run along now lil topper, run along

Do you ever leave the house, King-Eliagh? If disability wasn't a culture then why do we have disability discrimination law? I doubt you even understand culture and how it works in society. I do not feel the need at this point to introduce myself to a child like Raiderdave and a seemingly arrogant wannabe socialite like you.

Oh dear, you're a lost turkey. Ok lets try help you out. I think we need to define culture here. Culture is much much more than law #-o . So your measly argument above can be thrown out the window. Culture is generally defined in anthropology (the study of culture) as a complex web of meaning constructed and interconnected by individuals and the community they belong to. Terming disability as a culture in effect narrows or reifies culture to being disabled and contradicts the rights disabled people themselves have fought hard for.

So I think maybe you mr everyone else should grow up, should grow up and discontinue your discrimination of disabled people.

Anything else you need to know feel free to pm me

I would expect such a toffee nosed definition from someone like you, King-Eliagh. It might be correct in the dictionary, but in the cold hard light of day in society it is far from correct. You in fact pointed out that culture was complex, and yet you set out to simplify it and ignore disabled rights in the process. Congratulations. Have another sip of chardonnay.

You think I got this definition from the dictionary

No my friend, you're wrong yet think you're right once again.

Can you please point out where I "set out to simplify" culture? This is what you did with your bulbous headed line "If disability wasn't a culture then why do we have disability discrimination law". I explained that culture was broad and complex.

And then you suggest I ignore disable rights. Oh dear, it's time for you to read again. "Disabled culture" indeed!

You sir, certainly are a twit. Good day

"Terming disability as a culture in effect narrows or reifies culture to being disabled and contradicts the rights disabled people themselves have fought hard for."

Read this again, and recognise your imputation of simplicity. By ignoring the existence of the culture you deprive those who are disabled with their rights that are written into law. To describe me as a "twit" for pointing this out to you brings you down to Raiderdave's level and I doubt you are that undereducated in general. Unless your ivory tower included home teaching.
