I ask WHY ? anyone know..?

The AFL is winning prime time Thursday and Friday nights, whilst the NRL is leading on Sunday afternoons in 2026.

No free to air coverage Fred. Collingwood vs Carlton was exclusive to Fox Footy, Kayo and Binge.

Oh wow. This is why AFL supporters get Fox - many a pies supporter would have it for this very reason.

Yep, it’s exactly what Fox Footy/Kayo wanted too with Super Saturdays. From memory, Saturdays are exclusive to Fox Footy for the first 10 rounds nationwide, and all season in Victoria. Selected games are shown in local markets outside of Victoria from Round 11 onwards as part of the broadcast agreement (eg: Port Adelaide vs Fremantle yesterday and West Coast vs Brisbane last night).

The AFL's Sunday ratings have absolutely tanked. Less than half of the NRL number yesterday. It's no wonder the NRL broadcast deal is gonna bring in $1B more over 7 years than fumbling. Atrocious.

sunday is a clear winner for the NRL, rates very well..

NRL don't rely on Thursday and Friday Nights for big ratings.

they can get big ratings every day
