The cheapest the Swans ever did this season was the 3 game Red Zone membership for $70 for one day only. Had some mates jump on board with that deal earlier in the season.

Agree - suns have a 1 dollar membership last three weeks - something about getting access to final tickets . It’s just stupid.
legit,

sporting codes should only recognise
fulltime paid up members or i would even consider half paid up members as not everyone can get to every Home Match

they can do all that 1 game or 3 game members stuff for revenue but not be able to count to TOTAL as members.

Membership should count as a ratio of games bought.
1/2 season games bought= 1/2 membership.
3 games bought = 1/7 membership.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
Rugby league, Australias most popular game in some of North Eastern Australia.

yes i understand this, its more about a club claiming it has 40k 60k or 100k members when a whole bunch are not actual Full time or part time members.

yes it needs to be regulated to a point, but how so is another million-dollar question

I think the AFL break down membership numbers when they audit them - I think full membership should be the main measure.

what is a full membership?
most teams play home games at multiple venues, unlike the WCE, Fremantle, Adelaide teams etc those teams can offer the 11 home game memberships while the teams that play at the multi venues cannot

Yep. Totally meaningless. It's been made a farce by the AFL and its clubs.

The nrl has many promotions similar, look at the revenue raised from each club at the end of the year not the overall total numbers to see who is full of it or not

AFL is by far leading the race with these gimmicks.
