the 2 deals (NRL & AFL) will be measured no matter what>> its been nothing but gloating and takedowns towards PVL and NRL about AFL deal
with one being done in height of COVID the other in different circumstances.
neither of them needed to be done during the height of COVID. The AFL proved that while Vlandys shit the bed on this.

The deals will be measured by the same people that always do with assumptions not really based on conclusive evidence - the NRL dont post separate broadcast rights accounts, and NRL folks do like to exclude parts of the media rights deal they dont like while leaving everything in the NRL ones.

But most of all - it wont start until 3 years AFTER the AFL one, with all manner of new things bolted on to get a better deal, it MUST get a better deal than the AFL in 2028.
Agreed, Both Parties had plenty of time, One could not hold there nerve (the other handled it alot better) and it paid off.

2028 could be alot different how NRL post its Media TV RIghts as a whole (well i hope they do) they always short change themselves
Combine everything.. i say.

Interesting thing is will NRL go a 5 year deal or longer term deal ( i think a Broadcaster would pay more for a longer DEAL)

I taped the suns on Foxtel - had to put a blanket over top corner of TV so as not to see the score live.
well at least ya would not of watched much of the SUNS game with it being 59 to 3 at HT
I watched it all - had a few drinks by then seeing the Pies go down by a point lol. But yes - watched all of Suns. Was not an expected win anyway - especially with Collins and Miller out - even more so - but the nature of the loss was not good. Rioli looks several weeks out too - so would not be surprised if Suns don't make the eight - they should but.....
i was really confident with the CROWS ( after being robbed last game on the gold coast) AND YES THEY WERE ROBBED on a number decisions)
AFL even came out and said so

It was a nice half of football for the crows, 2nd half was average.

for the Suns vs Crows game there are no numbers recorded
44k people brought tickets and paid to travel to and attend a game but the ratings show no one watched the game?
 what are you on about >

Adelaide figure for the game was recorded at over 100k for the game>>
and again as usual, figure for the SUNS was so low it was not even published
and for fans attending from QLD for the SUS (if judging by Orange and red in the crowd it looked to be 5 fans)

AFL fixturing these last rounds has been coming into some major criticism - Wheatley said if this was your child and they hadthis as an assignment you would send them back to their room tell them to redo it and put some serious thought into this time lol.

NRL Fixture the H&A season 5 months before season starts all 24 games.
AFL Fixture the H&A Season in 2 parts (up to round 15) and than round 8 Round 16 to end of season) they even keep last round open)
they do this to maximise the best result for TV>> and they are still stuffying it up..
news flash its impossible to get it perfect your going to have dud games from round 1 to last round

well they're trying to maximise ratings fwed , scheduling in 5 weeks blocks or something .... trying to keep up with the NRL who is killing them ... even tho they schedule their entire season in advance .. so far more prone to poor match ups ...

But as per everything the fumbling turd show is doing atm
they're stuffing this up too      :(/ :(/

this floating schedule bullshit they learned from the NRL...who dropped it a few years back. No idea why the AFL felt like it was a good thing to pick up.
