At the Suns game - told they’re expecting 12000. Looks about at least that - but I can have my usual standing spot without any issue so tells me not a big crowd.

So over 13000 - on a cold and sometimes rainy day (I was freezing - did have a jumper but should havce put a t-shirt underneath) - although a touch of sun came out later in day - which funnily enough Gerald Wheatley commented on in the broadcast on SEN - was late in the game as was directly in my eyes. Not too shabby in a NRL dominated state - and it was Melbourne who traditionally don't travel or pull a crowd lol (particularly in Juner when the snow is falling).

on google it shows the grounds are rather close to each other. so in hind site, the rain would had put people off for both codes games
