the NRLs
380 million PA for 8 games a week

they were essentially on par
then covid happened
PVL was lied to by foxtel , they cried poor ... he signed a poor deal ( he thought he had to to keep them operating )
then foxtel & Ch 7, unwisely spent their money on a dud sport... flogball

so they never cry poor to the AFL! the network executives the select few that are put in place run these billion dollar networks, when signing multi billian dollar contracts know what they are looking at! they just see your code as inferior and a second rate product to the AFL!
