I would say so. There are plenty of South Africans and British who are not into AFL living there that like Rugby codes.

youll find most of them are union through and through and have little interest in league. they will have more interest in the Soccer and the EPL over league

I'm not so sure about that, a lot of them went to the State Of Origin games in Perth which were sellouts.

Put it this way.. Rugby League at an elite level is much more familiar to all the Kiwis, Poms & South Africans over there than AFL ever will be to them.

AFL is non existent in the UK & New Zealand. South Africans know about Rugby League, the operations manager of the NRL Andrew Abdo is South African.
