In time i could definitely see the SCG being upgraded Section by Section like they have done in the pass.

The O’Reilly, Brewongle and Churchill stands will all go..

SCG Capacity sitting at 48k
with the upgrade of these 3 stands would easily hit 60k

(i feel if the SCG gets upgraded.) the shitshow at Accor should also
Accor stadium (olympic stadium?) thats seems a bit of a mine field, it seems a shit venue all over but when ever talk of it being up graded seems to stir up issues. is there any reason as to why the Sydney Football stadium next to the SCG was fully rebuilt over the olympic stadium?
the SCG seems to get some money spent on it here and there constantly
SCG TRUST HAVE ALOT OF PULL POWER (POLICTICS IS EVERYTHING)

The powerful Sydney Cricket & Sports Ground Trust will have control of all the state's stadiums as part of a new super agency to run NSW's sporting and entertainment venues.

Businessman and the chair of the SCG Trust Tony Shepherd will lead the body, to be created through a merger with Venues NSW, the government agency responsible for all stadiums including ANZ.

so now due to the merger Accor is a good chance for a decent rebuild?

Nope, not really.
the stadium literally went Lighting and Big screens put in to enhance the stadium for fans.
it has helped abit but its still a white elephant..

the close it has got to a reconfigured redesign in 20 years was in 2019 when it was due to happen and locked in.
than covid Hit.. and Government redirected funds and cancelled it
