Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2025
my point is that 30K is not going to get the fumblers past us on FTA & I see we're 100K ahead a game so thats a fact now.leeroy*NRL* wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 6:35 pm70k to 39k still a decent drop from such a low point..azif wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 5:44 pmim not sure its that evident tbhleeroy*NRL* wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 1:38 pm
ive noticed a trend this year (its only 3 rounds in)
But FTA figures look quite down on FTA in QLD AND NSW )
they really look like the effect NRL was getting around the same period they Aligned with FOX Simulcast
the 39K who watched the stumbling mo^ng show on Thursday in Sydney & Brisb probably would have been only 70K last year
what ... is ... significant is the upswing on FTA certainly in Brisbane for the NRL which is widening the gap overall
any idea what the battle of Brisbane got in Brisbane ?
Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2025
Great numbers recorded for Australia's most watched sport. Once Fox is added it will be an absolute slaughter v the flailing fumbling game.leeroy*NRL* wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 7:03 pmTotal AFL/NRL FTA Audiences in March to date

In the past fumbling used to dominate FTA numbers and RL would swamp them with Fox figures. Now the Greatest Game Of All dominates both. Well done RL. Well done Peter The Great.

Delayed games on FTA are not going to help (northern States either)azif wrote: Sun Mar 30, 2025 10:58 ammy point is that 30K is not going to get the fumblers past us on FTA & I see we're 100K ahead a game so thats a fact now.leeroy*NRL* wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 6:35 pm70k to 39k still a decent drop from such a low point..azif wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 5:44 pm

Re: Footy TV Ratings - 2025
An early season comparison here
now the fumbling stumbling games FTA figures are down.... considerably ..... & while it was predicted they would be down with some migration to STV , I don't think even they or Ch 7 would have thought it would be this .. considerable. They scheduled heaps of bumbling & missing blockbusters for national coverage & they have made little to no impact on the damage in the ratings
what is surprising is , the rise in the NRLs FTA ratings on last year ....the nations most watched sport just continues to perform remarkably

What is also interesting is 7Plus 1st year this year, numbers are quite low
I do remember 9now taking a while to get some heat.
though streaming was new back than for sports.

What did Ch7 get more out of this deal
7Plus Streaming and More competition against Fox with viewers. (which they seem to be losing easily )

not too bad for fumblers yea , they pulled the wool over the eyes of another broadcasterleeroy*NRL* wrote: Wed Apr 02, 2025 4:17 pm40 mill PA locking in a 7 year contract is not too bad with Inflation etc.azif wrote: Tue Apr 01, 2025 7:17 pm7 increased their FTA deal with the fumblers by 40 mill PA in this new deal that started this seasonleeroy*NRL* wrote: Tue Apr 01, 2025 5:10 pm
