The office of sport is a NSW govt body. They gave a grant of $15M to the Gonads in 2023 for a centre of excellence at Homebush. I assume the money is part of that grant. Interesting to note that if the grant money wasn't available they would have recorded a loss. That is quite incredible really when you consider the money fumblehouse sink into the joint.

I also note they claim they have 36k 'members'. Is there any sane sensible person anywhere in this great vast land who believe this??? If so please PM me. I'm selling bridges, mirages, unicorns and assorted bigfoot droppings. I can also arrange one on one meetings with Santa Claus, the tooth fairy and the wicked witch of the west. Get in quick. Should be stipulated how many full and paid members and how many are only part members.

And yes, clubs in all codes exaggerate it. But I would say the Gonads claim has got to be the biggest piss take in Australian sport.
