Doesn’t appear to be anything illegal - just bad taste it seems - I suspect the rape allegations re: the nrl player recently released would be at the centre of it - and possibly homophobic stuff re PDiddy - but would be good to get the full story. Definetely seems the giants can’t take a trick.

their premiers still carry an enormous amount of debt ... easily the most in the AFL .. despite being quite successful in these last 5 years & are still very much reliant on funding to remain solvent
They have to make significant profits each year ... just .. to pay off the interest on the debts they carry.

now compare that to their 2 biggest rivals in Brisbane the Broncos & Dolphins who both have cash & assets well past 100 million each.
