Predicted 4million Solid (also thought BRISBANE AND SYDNEY would be close to 500k each..
Everyone is forgetting the power of BVOD Channel 9 and NRL have been pumping out HUGE numbers

even the Great WOOKIE after the smashing thought numbers would be 3.2mill.
I think being a day time game and having NSW AND QLD (Tv's stayed on no matter what happened.)
The Uniqueness of the Grand Final might not happen for another 100 years.

for me and like many the Game was a HUGE DUD.
if the game Like Origin Which finishes after 10pm you have seen people turning off in big numbers.

I think most were expecting a ratings spike given the added spike from both Brisbane and Sydney - non traditional markets - which draws an extra audience than say two Melbourne teams who were going to watch no matter who was playing. It’s not rocket science.

any ratings spike was well & truly put to bed by the pathetic contest when 2/3 of the game was rubbish
even sookie said he expected it would have a significant adverse affect on the figures
