Good riddance Lockyer Welcome AFL GF
Now that this gravel sounding merkin's team was beaten last night in front of a capacity crowd of 31,000
can we safely assume this NRL nobody will now just disappear into the sunset
so the rest of this great AFL country can focus on the HUGE AFL Grand Final next Saturday at the G!

A real shame for Lockyer. He'll head back up to brissy town in his chopper today I assume. It was great having him in town though and it really highlighted the dominance of Rugby League across the landscape of the biggest city in the nation. Absolute hysteria it was here in this huge city!
Lockyer wont go away. We'll be seeing his face plenty for the next forty odd years. He'll be around whether its coaching or providing professional advice here and there.
And does anyone know if he is going to play in the green and gold in the coming months?
