News flash for Beaussie and Grim

Post by King-Eliagh »

Beaussie, Grim? Lockyer just arrived in Sydney tonight via chopper from Brisbane! That's right you heard it, they flew him down in a chopper!! :D

Choppers are only reserved for true stars like Beiber, J-Lo and Lady Gaga...and our very own Lockyer. You lads have gotta switch on the news or just take a walk outside and ask someone, its Lockyer hysteria down here in Sydney! And word is, HE'S GUNNA PLAY! :\: :bounce: :\:

Or if you're both struggling with hearing it all just sneak out after midnight tonight, dig yourself a dugout, take earplugs, 50 gallon drum of water, 20 cans o' Heinz Baked Beans and sit **** your methane for another 17 days. Things should be cooling down by then. :\: :compress: :\:

Thats weird as when I was in the heart of AFL territory in Western Sydney this evening all I saw was GWS material and everyone was talking about Israel and Sheeds....when the term Lockyer was mentioned people scratched their heads in bewilderment. This was also the same scenrio when I was in Sydney CBD there was nothing but a sense of "what you talking about Willis" when this word Lockyer was mentioned....am still lost as to what the word Lockyer means?? :-k :?> ](*,)

yes , common sense has prevailed

its one thing for some boggerball player way back when who ponced out onto a field with a similar medical condition to Darren

but I dare say a finger wasn't layed on him ... nor was there any chance he'd even have to contend with any contact , there is so little of any note in fumbleball these days

not the case with Darren trotting out onto an NRL field , he'd be given no quarter .. nor would he expect any either
he'd be set apon because he is such a dangerous player & further damage to his fractured cheekbone a certainty.

another 9 days may be a different story however & if the Broncos can get past Manly ... who knows
All of QLD will be watching & hoping they do & qualify for their 7th Grand Final .... & Darren holds the NRL trophy alfoat next week ... going out the most complete of legends
wow... what a fairytale that would be

Who cares about this loser and if he plays or not. Actually the Warrior encourages him to play so he can end up retiring from that stupid NRL blind after being dumb enough to play. But then again our taxes would have to support this blindy afterwards.

Yep just read up on it then. Lockyer out but will play in GF if they make it. I certainly hope the Broncos will get up without him and he can lead the way to victory in the GF. The guy deserves it.

I think you make a fair point Raider but I really dont think it is fair to make comparisons at all with Leo Barry's broken cheekbone. Interesting that the major difference everyone is talking about is "noone knew Leo had it" :?> Ummm why? Was the hit not so horrific and the injury nowhere near as severe? I'd say yes. What sort of fracture are we talking about here? Where was the bruising? Obviously if noone knew about it he had none or only minor bruising. Leo barry's injury sounds more like a hairline fracture to me and really we shouldnt be making comparisons at all. In fact if Leo was half the man I thought he was he wouldve acknowledged this in the television reports :^o But no he made out like he was superman [-X

If anyone has answers to clarify my questions above I'd love to hear them. Otherwise I'd say as usual my assumptions are spot on

Meanwhile Sydney is still a buzz with Lockyer hysteria! And this will grow enormously if the Broncos beat Manly in two days time. For those fans who are out to get a sighting, Beaussie? Grim?, he's staying in Bondi at the Swiss Grand Hotel :\:

You heard it first here folks, at Talking Footy, from the King :\:

Your a great story teller but no one give a rats arse about this wanker Lockyer and his stupid exploits of running into a guys knee. That is not heroism but stupidity. And nobody south of Wollongong or west of the Blue Mountains gives a stuff about your silly NRL as it is only a stupid Sydney game designed to amuse those with a low IQ.

The doctor told lockyer not to do anything for 6 weeks but i cant see him sitting out if they make the grand final and its his last ever game!

I see noone has any answers to my questions about the severity and veracity of Leo Barry's sore cheek?

Hairline fracture for sure and the guy was not even humble enough to admit his injury was like a scratch in comparison to Lockyers. [-X

What a softy sook Lockyer is. Suppose it shows that when the going gets tough the NRL sooks run off and cry. Thank God the AFL finals are on where the game is tough and the crowds massive. =D>
