I agree, Leeroy - especially the AFL with their broadcast rights being negotiated right now. They should point to the difference between the main FTA channels and the support FTA channels and use that to tell all three FTA providers "not good enough".

for all the hoopla about the game , it failed to resonate much past those at the ground again indicating the overall popularity of the Vicderpian game in Sydney is still spinning its wheels after 40 years

it is actually not true in this day and age..
you actually make more money from tv than attendance at games.
