And yes I agree Raider, Soward is playing like a soggy potato with no mojo, what a mofo! I think him and the dragons are a waste of space in this years finals. Good riddance to the lot of those wankers!

I wish you would stop pretending to be an AFL fan. You're nothing but a suck job to Raider. SickeningKing-Eliagh wrote:I gotta say Raider has a point here. And beaussie has failed to acknowledge the massive drop in crowds. Instead reverted to the 'ba(n)dwagon' syndrome as his defence... very poor response beaussie

FFS how stupid are you throwball fans. When the Swans were getting crowds of 70k+ you throwball fans said the Swans fans were bandwagon, only on board because the Swans were successful on the field.
Fast forward to 2011 when the Swans lack on-field success yet still get bigger crowds than the top of the table Melbourne Storm[
/b], and you've got the hide to suggest the bandwagon effect for the Swans is now not a defence. You're all ******* ********. Still doesn't change the fact that Melbourne Storm have no bandwagon in Melbourne. Pathetic really for such a successful on the field team.
then nominate the big annual event for the Swans thenBeaussie wrote:Losing for the past 6 years against the Pies would hardly mean the annual clash at Homebush is a marquee game guranteed a 70k + crowd like in earlier seasons. The Swans have become a very frustrating team to watch and yes whilst they may make finals, they bomb out straight away. I'm speaking here as a fan. You on the other hand Raider have NFI what you're talking about.
In anycase, despite the poor on field performances of the Swans, the AFL still attracts much bigger crowds than the top of table always in finals and grand finals Melbourne Strom/NRL in Victoria. Popularity contest... hmm there is no contest. Melbourne people hate Rugby League, prefering Rugby Union. The Melbourne Rebels don't have more members and bigger crowds for no reason.
they've gone no worse .. or better this year then lastBeaussie wrote:How stupid are you. Of course on field performance affects crowd numbers. Not to mention the crappy weather all season for just about every Swans home game.
Just imagine what Melbourne Storm's crowds would be like if they were as hot and cold as the form of the Swans. The average crowd for the top of the table Storm is 13k. You get the picture and it ain't nice to contemplate an unsuccessful on field Storm outfit. Nasty.
Last year the Swans nearly made a premliminary final. This season we'll be luck to make the finals. Form has been up and down all season this year and very frustrating to watch. Not to mention a game plan that even Swans fans find difficult to watch. A game plan that sees the Swans always fail to beat anyone above them on the ladder. Takes the gloss of a blockbuster when even as a fan you feel your team has little chance of winning against the likes of Collingwood, Hawthorn, Carlton etc etc.Raiderdave wrote:they've gone no worse .. or better this year then lastBeaussie wrote:How stupid are you. How you can say the Swans have gone no worse or better this season or since 2006 just goes to show you have no idea when discussing this subject matter.
hmmmm .... in 2009 they finished 12thBeaussie wrote:No... Swans had a chance to snare top 4 late last season, this season, struggling to make the 8. Massive difference dopey.
