Seems obvious to me that extra games dilutes the audience of each individual match, so a lower average is entirely expected. 500 AFL fans watch 2 matches average 250 viwers, 500 NRL fans watch 1 match 500 viewers. Perhaps this has been covered im new.

There PTV ratings are poor either way..Something they more than make up for by showing most of these matches on FTA aswell. To put it bluntly Cehar your games have little or no appeal and your ratings reflect that.

South of the Murray? The swans are most popular football club in Sydney and the lions damn close in Brisbane...come the 2nd Brisbane NRL club the lions will be.
Australian rules may not be the most popular code overall in NSW and Queensland.....but some of the clubs are or very close, as far as the code .......wait

the Broncos still have a higher average despite being as crappy as they have ever been in their 33 years of existence & playing a lot of games on Thursday nights which are crowd killers

The kitty kat wions are running 3rd & play on sat nights & sunday afternoons
& as we all know , only expat morons from south of the murray, or the other waste of space states , or their unco offspring watch the derps & misses in QLD
