Turn it up. You wouldn't sell 80k. That's the whole reason why you sell tickets from July to October in the hope that fans hoping their team will be there will buy tickets in the lead up. you buy your ticket to secure your seat & you certainly do if you believe your team will be there like Dragons fans did a month ago
if you left it to the day after the prelim final you would be trampled trying to get one of the 13K that go on sale on the Monday.

plenty of tickets get returned by fans whos side doesn't end up making it
the NRL allows a window for this during the final series .. full refund minus the booking fee
these tickets .. & the 13K are snapped up like hot cakes in only hours on the monday
the NRL GF is the biggest single annual sporting event in the Nthn States & nothing goes close to it

I was wrong .. it is a rarely used facility I have been told ... rang the NRL myself masquerading as someone who might return mine ( of course I wouldn't do that ) they said its usually only a few hundred returned via this option.

& for obvious reasons

Anywho i shouldn't get off subject.. Tickets going on sale early has its pros and cons! can anyone tell me the price of an NRL grand final ticket? Every time i get keen to goto an AFL grand final i cant find tickets any cheaper than $1200.
Or am i not looking in the right spot?
i cant imagin paying that much for a grand final ticket then my team not playing but i guess if NRL tix were reasonable it wouldnt be so bad.
