maybe you to arse clowns parraeels and you! Terry can share a geography lesson together and learn that the term national is!Terry wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:20 pmI think the best policy is we don't interact with the village idiot at all. I mean national doesn't mean a comp featuring a bunch of minnows based in new that appear to exist for shits and giggles for their owners of those mini casinos, then throw in the odd minnow team from act and Melbourne and the fox backed newscorp broncos to round a comp out.
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million

and she still changes your nappies as well!

3 paragraphs simply to shoulder arms?Terry wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 6:21 pmThank you for your reply Catsy. Unfortunately you have completely missed the point of my question to the great man Wookie. I questioned his apparent change of thinking around AFL SOO. In previous years he has been **** the cavalcade of fumblers here who go nuts when RL SOO gets close.Cats_Steve wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:57 pmFor a bloke who displays scorn that has to date back to '82, you sure do post like a 14 year old girl Terry.
As Wookie said, SOO was awesome, loved it as a kid, but I see exactly why we don't/can't have it. It just isn't feasible. Take your narrow mind out of your own game for a second, SOO is everything to you lot, we simply don't look at it like that.
I know I'd rather have the actual national comp than have what you lot have, and you'll find that's the broader consensus down here. Each to their own.
BUT
Would I love to see it, somehow with all the proper names and some sort of relevance?
Fuck oath. Awesome seeing the stars on the field together, going at 82% by foot. Shame W.A and S.A aren't one state.
Does it make us feel inferior in any way, or watch your SOO with pure envy?
No, that's another one reserved for your minds.
The main tenant of their reasoning was that AFL SOO was old hat, not needed and not missed. There was never any mention of 'missing it'. No reflection or sense of affection for it. But today Wookie said he 'missed it'. I simply asked why the apparent change in his reasoning. I wasn't interested in the other claptrap my friend.
That was the point of my post Catsy. You have wasted precious minutes of your valuable time, and mine, on a issue not at question in this conversation. I have no problem with my friend that but I suggest you read more carefully next time. Maybe get some help from Mrs Catsy. Or re-read posts until you understand the meaning and nuance contained within.
I hope that helps pal. Keep morale high!!!! Oh...………...and what have ya got against 14 year old girls pal?? Strange behaviour my friend!!!!
Trust me, we aren't interested in your claptrap either, I was just feeling kind enough to give you a more general opinion, you're welcome.
Hope that helps pal.
Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.

I think you could find many many posts with the rantings & screeching of Gimmick Gimmick when SOO rolls around .Cats_Steve wrote: Sat Feb 29, 2020 7:57 pmLike what? None of the AFL boys ever indicate that they are jealous of RL in any way, because we aren't, it's entirely in your head. You think it's some kind of 1 up because it means so much to you. Wake up.

Patronising? Trolling? Bullshit? Can you please explain what the difference is between my patronising, trolling, bullshit and your fumbling friends, the village idiot and the fool Fred's, patronising, trolling, bullshit? Apart from the fact I am always factually correct and they are ranting, stalking, low information posters? I mean come on pal. The village idiot and Fred? You're gonna go into bat for them? Lololololololol!!!!!!The_Wookie wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:34 pmI grow weary of this patronising trolling bullshit. Either engage like a normal human being or fuck off. Or i can make it so.Terry wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2020 7:03 pmI suspect that is hyperbole my friend. I mean is it even possible to get 'laughed off the planet'. Do you have examples?? national doesnt mean fuckin everywhere otherwise your mob would be fucking laughed off the planet.
I would like to work with you Wookie to make this site a better place. PM me or let me know what we can do together to improve the experience. Or if its too much for ya pal just cancel me. That'd be the easiest option my friend. At least you'd still have the village idiot and Fred lololololol!!!!!

What Parra is trying to say is AFL is not a blokey sport in like NFL and NRL etc..Fred wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 3:23 pmI think Parras or anyone else's preference for certain male physiques when watching or enjoying sport is relevant and sports related.leeroy*NRL* wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2020 1:48 pmcan we stop with the bullshit..

The uniforms in AFL look like women's basketballer uniforms.
There is nothing in AFL that embraces masculinity.

Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

Hmmmm... I think you have two different body types in AFL and NRL. I think the men of league and men of AFL calendars probably highlight this difference. One is more solid, bulkier, body builder type look (nrl) and AFL is more the athletic body sculpting type look. I agree there is more scope for the tall and lanky types in AFL along with short players ... which is really not suited to the collision type processes of NRL but I think this also sees the “no neck” bulked up look of many NRL players. If parra prefers that look, that”s fine ... whatever floats his boat I guess. I think to suggest that all AFL or even most are skinny bean poles is not accurate though and I think if he had a good look he may like what he sees.

Re: Who Plays Richmond in the WCC?
Um again. I’m there to watch the sport Parra. I also don’t mind watching RL, cricket, tennis (sometimes) as we as baseball and sometimes basketball. The shape or size of the bodies of the men playing don’t really come into it in those male sports. As you have just pointed out, for you it does. That’s fine. I can relate, as when watching female sports I too can appreciate the fine female form of the athlete playing ... not all but those I think are easy on the eye... it’s an added bonus ... so see where you’re coming from.
