From memory it has nrlol merger bankrupt minnows wests tigers something like 4th on the list of most popular
So of course it would smash AFL with total global fanbase numbers.
Is just reflective of the two sports global appeal with NRL having half a Million more.
Isn’t there a thread somewhere that states AFL is a more popular title searched in google than rugby league
Btw go and look at that list of fb likes and tell me that west’s tigers are the 4 or 5 most popular team in the nrlol
Rugby League is simply light years ahead of AFL internationally. So of course it is going to have more fans on the most popular international website.
Professional comp in England, professional clubs in France, England, New Zealand and now Canada.
All things AFL has not been able to achieve due to it being a 1 nation niche sport.
