Re: Sydney AFL going down the gurgler - and quick!!!!!
The extra salary cap hasn’t for gws and gcs! They still struggle to even hold on to players and on field the teams have been average to hopeless!AFLcrap1 wrote: Mon May 06, 2019 6:40 pmNope you're in denial as usual
10% increase doesn't guarantee failure either .
It helped them be successful as a one city team in Aust biggest city .
You can but but but all you like .
You can't change that fact
You can't compare the storm
They weren't given anything extra onfield by the NRL .
& you can't compare crowd attenendances as they are different crowd cultures in different sports .
The storm do alright by nrl attendances .
Lol funny that ...success has increased their crowd average .
Lol shows how pathetic your denial is
Your one team in the city conspiracy is also imagination due to the Minnowbourne Storm in Melbourne as they have been more successful than the swans yet are the most irrelevant football team in Melbourne! Unlike the swans who are the opposite
Your argument keeps contradicting it self
So your conspiracy is all your imagination again!

Re: Sydney AFL going down the gurgler - and quick!!!!!
I explained about the storm .
You just ignore & keep deflecting
RL & AFL crowd attending culture said are very different .
The storm is doing pretty good by NRL standards ..crowd wise .
Now pay close attention .& try to answer without deflecting .
Have the Storm had any on field help/..extra salary cap put in place by the NRL to ensure their success .
A simple yes or no will be good .
In Syd the swans had it for years .
Yet you go on about the RL clubs in Syd . Trying to compare a cheating team to those on a fair & level playing field
So please show where a team in SYD got the same advantages as the swans .
No deflections please .just answer the question .
You ask about the storm ..I answer .
So about time you answered

The storm are in Melbourne so should probably be judged on Melbourne's sporting culture, not the NRL.AFLcrap1 wrote: Tue May 07, 2019 10:28 amI explained about the storm .

The Melbourne Victory draw larger crowds than every other A league club because they are in Melbourne.
How a club managed to get success has no bearing on their crowds, it's a completely different issue. As stated earlier, have any NRL clubs in Sydney been more successful on field than the swans?

I dont get how you cant attribute success to a 10% increase in salary cap when clubs have performed either tremendously or horribly with identical salary caps.
Clearly there are far more factors to success than salary cap

There are many many inconsistencies which favour some clubs over others. There is no such thing as a level playing field

Re: Sydney AFL going down the gurgler - and quick!!!!!
More trouble for the lowly Swans. Showing how far down the pecking order in 'ol Sydney town they are Cricket Australia intends to use the SCG right up until a couple of days till the 2020 season fumbles off. The Swans are 'stunned and flabbergasted' lolololol!!!!!! They're whinging and whining like stuck pigs!!!!!Suck it up cupcakes!!!!!!!
This follows the decision to give 'em the middle finger about a drop in pitch for the home of NSW cricket. Well done again CA!!!!!
This mob is slowly and surely going down the gurgler in Australia's biggest and greatest city!!!!!!
Stay tuned for more details!!!!!!

No one is denying the extra salary cap of the swans helped but it hasn’t gcs or gws!
Isn’t it funny the fan base the swans have now attracted! Something that no other Sydney based team have achieved!
All the success of the Minnowbourne Storm and you’d think the same would happen!
Nup!
And ignore it had something to do with culture of attending sport between cities the swans and Storm have debunked that conspiracy as well
They already are coming back for the lions
And they have only won a few games this season & crowds are returning
Funny how this is the case

Pal, this magnificent thread is about the recent decline of the Sydney Swans. You know.......like coming last in the comp. And the doom and gloom from all quarters about their looming problems.Nrlolol wrote: Tue May 07, 2019 4:26 pmIt goes round and round as all you do is rant and rave until you get the answer you want!AFLcrap1 wrote: Tue May 07, 2019 12:21 pmOh Jesus h fuck .

Please comment on the specifics of the thread. There are other places for crowds, COLA, Melbourne Storm, the Qld fumbling teams and everything else you are using as a deflection. Please go there if you wish to but keep comments here on point.

we have been commenting on the thread topic Terry. We noted that despite a very poor season the swans currently have a crowd average 50% above the best NRL club in Sydney.Terry wrote: Tue May 07, 2019 5:22 pmPal, this magnificent thread is about the recent decline of the Sydney Swans. The swans crowds are perfectly relevant to this thread. How else are we to measure their "falling" level of support?
